North Shore Garden Hideaway

This is a newly renovated 2 bedroom apartment on a large gated lot in a very secluded neighborhood on the North Shore. It is a 3 minute drive from world class beaches and surfing. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, full kitchen and large bathroom with washer and dryer. Plenty of safe parking on the property. It is a downstairs apartment and we live upstairs. 


The apartment is the bottom unit of our home. Upstairs is occupied by owners and downstairs is our rental apartment. Separate entrances and parking from owners. The apartment has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom with full laundry. First bedroom has queen size bed and 2nd bedroom has queen size bed. The kitchen has everything to make you feel like home. Full size oven and fridge. Toaster, microwave, dishes, utensils, coffee pot etc. The bathroom has a toilet room and walk-in shower, vanity, full size washer and dryer. The apartment also has air conditioning to keep you comfortable.


We have lived on the property for over 30 years and are responsible adults in our 50's. We also like to have fun, on the weekends we may friends over for dinner parties and sometimes we may start our dirt bikes to go for a ride.

landscaped serenity, calm positive vibes, simply located near foodland was a bonus. definitely HOME away from HOME. spacious, super clean, even fresh fruits from their landscaped fruit bearing greenery!!! friendly and filled with ALOHA …i most definitely will BOOK WITH THEIR ‘OHANA over and over again.

Great property
This property is in a great location. It has a beautiful, quiet backyard and is just minutes from beaches. We enjoyed the outdoor patio in the mornings, drinking our coffee and in evenings with a glass of wine. The inside has a modern industrial sheik feel and was clean with comfy beds. There were beach chairs, umbrellas, coolers, snorkel & boogie boards available for us to use which was a huge bonus. The hosts were very friendly. We highly recommend this property.

Great hosts, great location
We really enjoyed our stay — huge kitchen with lots of prep space and comfortable living room with plenty of seating. Location is perfect; quick drive to tons of activities. Great beaches within a 5 minute drive, short drive to turtle bay, great grocery store just at the bottom of the hill, bakery and shopping all very close. Hosts were incredibly kind.

Nice accommodations
This is a nice, very clean two bedroom ground floor apartment in a quiet area. It is ten minutes from a public beach and grocery store. It does not have an ocean view, but the absence of traffic compensated. The owners live above. They were very quiet and provided bananas from their banana tree. The washer-dryer and A/C were most appreciated. I would stay here again.

Lovely Hillside Home
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The location is minutes away from the gorgeous North Shore beaches. The unit is spacious and well stocked with everything you could need. The lanai looks out on the lush garden setting and an added bonus was the very friendly cat, Kitty Boy, who joined us on the lanai daily. Would definitely stay here again.

North Shore Gem Tucked Away In Paradise
The property was superb. Very clean. Had everything we needed. Quiet, tranquil location, near all the nice beaches. Grocery store was only 5 min away. Shark’s cove, Three Tables, and Waimea Bay, all right there also. Very easy check in and out. Owner very friendly and honest. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to skip all of the commercialized, touristy stuff, and stay at a location away from noise and crowds, as if you were in paradise (oh yeah, you are in paradise). I would stay here again and again. If you plan a trip to Hawaii, and stay on Oahu, this is the place to stay. It’ll be your gateway to paradise on the North Shore, without the hustle and bustle of a hotel (which there aren’t any on the NS).

Fantastic location and family-friendly
We had the perfect stay! The location was near so many activities we did as a family (beaches, Toa Luau, Waimea Valley, shark-watching boat ride, Dole plantation, food trucks). The home was clean, close to the grocery store, and we enjoyed spending time on the patio in the early evenings while our little ones slept. Thank you for having us!

We spent 4 nights in the Garden Hideaway and it was a great spot to stay and use as a home base to explore the North Shore. It was just 2 of us this time, but even with 4 in a family, it was a large amount of space to live in. Very comfortable and clean. Would definitely enjoy returning to this location.

Spacious and clean
The apt is clean and spacious. The beds are comfortable and the shower is great. The hosts were helpful. It is located under a house and there is parking. The unit has a nice outdoor area. The inside is a little dark and you can hear footsteps above. You do need a car. It’s not an easy walk to the beach but the nearby beaches 5 min drive are beautiful. Foodland and food trucks across from the beach were very convenient.

Tranquil, Peaceful, Clean and Modern
This property was amazing from beginning to the end. The host answered my questions immediately all the way through the process. They live on the property and take great pride in what they have built and it shows. We really enjoyed visiting with them getting to know them and asking questions on sites to visit. I wanted coffee in the kitchen when I showed up, and that was not a problem, they gladly supplied that! My son's reservations on another property were not reserved properly and they were happy to have him and his wife stay two nights with us. There is a very loving cat that belongs to this family which eased our sadness of leaving our pets while we were on vacation. We will definitely stay here again when we are on the North Shore.

This is our 2nd visit to Hawaii, but staying in Haleiwa was first time. The house was very beautiful , clean and convenient. And the location was also perfect. Tucked away in the Hills
It was quiet and peaceful but just up the hill from beautiful beaches, food trucks and a grocery store. The road is a bit too far to walk but doesn't take long in a car.We liked being away from the car noises. The host was so friendly and helpful. It was a great place for us and we would return ASAP
