The facilities and rooms are very nice with antique touches. The grounds are pleasant with pretty flowers. They provide brandy and wine with some cookies in the common area.
On the down side, there is no one on the grounds mos of the time, so when arriving at 2:30 to verify parking, you call a number and no one calls back. Finally, a landscaper called and verified someone would come at 3:00 check-in time.
Similarly, at 8:30 AM the next morning, we went to see if someone could explain how to use the fireplace or heat the room as our room got cold down to 61 degrees, but no one there.
We had to stand within 5 feet of the TV Comcast gateway to get the remote to work, and all movie channels not subscribed to though not greyed out as usual. Plus, no HDTV.
Breakfast provided, but had to walk downtown and wait in a long line because of the Pumpkin Festival for limited menu.
Wi-Fi Internet was very slow.
Not a traditional B&B.
