"The resort is absolutely beautiful, but the best part of this stay is definitely the very attentive and friendly staff. My boyfriend and I did not meet one unwelcoming or standoffish staff member. Our personal concierge, Billie, went above and beyond for us. Would definitely stay again!!"

"The pics don’t lie! It’s beautiful. The staff are very kind and responsive. They keep the property very clean! The beach out front is well maintained. The region has an issue with sargassum coming ashore and littering the beach, but they get up very early to clear it away so it lovely when you walk out in the morning. The water is very warm in September stil and we actually found the pool more refreshing. Most of the time we were the only ones floating around, so nice and quiet. Snorkeling might not be as easy as the reviews indicate, meaning the initial 20 feet entry you’re going to encounter coral head rocks and sargassum, but nothing to worry about. Once past it, it’s beautiful. They have a Chef you can hire. He can obtain groceries for you before your arrival or cook your meals! He makes incredible rice and beans among other great dishes! His pork belly was delicious. "

"This place us a hidden gem. Located within a gated community, so it was very safe. The property was very clean, and well maintained. Susana was very prompt in her responses and even suggested us places we can visit. The kitchen is full equipped with all the cookwares and cutlery. The view from the primary bed and the living room was to die for. The area is very quiet, so if you are looking for some serenity, this is ur place. The house was cleaned everyday. The only drawback in the building was that the unit is in the 3rd floor and the elevator was out of service during our stay. The one day they fixed it and we got into it, we got stuck in the elevator for almost 20mins. Other than that, the overall experience was amazing, the pool was nice, they had snorkelling gears and and kayaks."

"The property was awesome. It fit our needs perfectly. One bedroom on first floor perfect for our 80 year old mother so no climbing stairs. Elevator was not working but probably a good thing as the younger kids would not abuse it. The beach area was smaller than we expected but still wonderful view from the house to the ocean. Most photos taken were from the palm tree in front of pool. Awesome views. Staff was great and pleasant. We would return if we take another family trip to Akumal."
