"Terlingua Ranch was definitely remote and it made for the most beautiful stargazing experience I’ve ever had! The room and amenities were exactly as pictured and the cleanliness was better than I imagined! The only drawback was that the evening I was there, there was a light that kept flashing frequently from the canyon behind the cabins - could not figure out what that was or why. The service at both the office/store and the restaurant were subpar, but I’d overlook that and consider staying there again. Would recommend!"

"Incredible home - spacious, warm and welcoming, full of baskets and rugs and antique doors to make this place a cherished home away from home. After hiking in BBNP all day it was great to relax and cook a dinner using their well-equipped kitchen. Note here there are not many places to eat out and definitely down home style. The nighttime sky was as advertised- you felt you could pluck each one from the sky, they seemed so large and close. You must conserve your water - our weather was hot and very dry. No clouds in the sky at all. This was the first week in Vov. From the northeast it was amusing or amazing to us how far it takes to drive to any place but it certainly was peaceful at Dos Corazones!
