This property was located in a perfect place for anyone visiting Halmstead for the first time. Unfortunately, upon our check out the front desk gal was pretty rude. The beauty of the experience of this beautiful hotel was diminished by her attitude.

Our group of 10 from the U.S all stayed there. We hosted a memorial luncheon for my sister with 40 guests attending. I had been arranging it for the last few months with various staff members via email from the the U.S. All were helpful, accommodating and prompt in replying to all questions and arrangements. The luncheon was beautifully arranged and the food was delicious. Definitely ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for everything and everyone! Thank you for making this trip and event perfect. Eva Harvick

The breakfast each morning was superb. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was a bit confusing, however there are public parking lots within a short walk of the hotel in two directions. Of note, the Hotel does not have it's own parking, however that's not really an issue. Plenty of choices in the area to dine, some cool attractions within a short walk, beautiful area along the Nissan river with multiple parks and hiking trails close by.

Nice room but no cleaning
The hotel is well located in the center of Halmstad. The room was clean and cozy. We stayed 2 nights. When we came back to our room around 3pm on our second day, we saw that the room wasn't cleaned. The reception told us that we need to actively tell them to do the room during our stay if we want the cleaning staff to take care of our room. This information was never given to us, and this of course takes the overall appreciation of this hotel down. Isn't it a basic service in an hotel of this category ?

We got a fairly small room but wonderful king size bed. View over the river. Checkin/out was totally digital without any human interaction. Renovated lobby and bar almost a feel of Manhattan.

Bra hotell med bra frukost. Mycket centralt läge i historiska kvarter. Det centrala läget medför dock att det är svårt att ta sig dit med någon form av fordon och man tvingas parkera i ett parkeringshus en bit bort, via en komplicerad omväg. Men som sagt, hotellet i sig är fräscht och trevligt.
