Stay at hotel regularly. Checked in yesterday and spoke to gentleman on reception and requested late check out. Gentleman advised yes and had booked us untill 12:30 today. Verrrrrry rude cleaner banged on door at 11:15am telling me I had to leave as she had to clean. Explained that I had late booking and booked with reception. Still continued to be rude and told us to leave. Told us we had to get ready and go. Went to reception and pressed buzzer to complain and she came round the corner smirking and told me no reception available till 3 and made me very uncomfortable. Asked how I contacted a proper receptionist as this was an agreed booking and she laughed and said come back to hotel at 3pm and let me clean. Verrry disappointed as I genuinely like this hotel and use almost every weekend. Disrespectful cleaning staff that find it acceptable to be rude and smirk is not the cleaning staff you want to be working around paying guests!
As a whole the hotel was okay it was clean and tidy. However I stayed for 3 nights and could barley sleep the matteress was well and truly destroyed the springs dug in and you sank straight to the divan base. One of the plug sockets was broken and didn't hold the plug in making it spark when you plug something in. The shower head was full of limescale and there was no towel rack.
