Check in was late. I understand that they cannot always provide early check-in. I expected that they would give me the room at the normal check-in time which is 3 pm. But they took 15 more mins. I had to get somewhere by 4 pm and because I wasn’t able to check-in on time even after waiting for half an hour, I was late for my 4 pm appointment. I was travelling with my kids and this is not what I expected from a reputable hotel

Average at best, poor bed, poor service and dining room. I think they forgot about our order and then brought it when it was cold after I asked where it was. Many many stains on the carpet in our room.

Decent short break to attend Fringe
We chose this place to attend the Edinburgh Fringe. It is located near M8 and has new and clean decor, parking, and comfortable rooms. The breakfast buffet could be improved with more options and a little better organisation.
