Almost Way Cool
I wanted to LOVE this place and it is a very cool property ... not a normal hotel experience. However, it is very minimalist and just sort of cold. There is quite a walk from the parking lot, but it is well lit so it felt safe enough. I love what they are trying to do, but it seemed to miss the mark for me.

Nice property, paper mill converted into a hotel. Beautiful building that seems to still be a work in progress. The on-site restaurant/bar area is lovely and has a terrific staff. Easy drive into Oxford with much better rates for those traveling to see students at U of Miami

Rooms are giant volume, lighting is horrible, you can not do makeup in bathroom, bathroom lights in shower/ toilet are controlled at entry door, beds are comfortable, hvac is great, 1.5” gap at bottom of room door very strange, minimalist decor, have never seen a hotel w a refrigerator just sitting on middle of wall plugged in, no room safe, no seating, 1 print artwork in a giant room, parking is horrible, valet appeared to be barely of age to drive, would not valet a new s class with the kid valet, bar was a joke, we waited for 20 minutes to be served, then we’re told it was closing time at 10pm, we thanked bar tender, she then told us she was understaffed with kids and would serve us, drinks were horrible, but cheap. There is no room service, but you can preorder a microwave breakfast the night before by 10pm. Restaurant and bar do open until noon? Brilliant! This could be a great place if someone would actually manage it and operate it properly. We will not be returning!

Great choice in Hamilton area!
We really enjoy this location and contemporary retro vibe. The rooms are very large, very comfortable and clean. The bar restaurant is good and the hotel location is very close to downtown Hamilton (a 5 minute walk). Prefer the rooms with exterior windows/views versus interior views. The parking is far away but they have drop/off valet service area and the pathways are very well lit to and from hotel.

The hotel was very cool/industrial and very clean. The staff was excellent. The restaurant/bar was great! Wish the room floors weren’t concrete, made for a cold walk to the bathroom. And shower head in our bathroom shower was placed oddly to hit right front corner, shooting water out of the curtain to the floor.

The aesthetics of the hotel amd individual rooms is incredible, very beautiful and fun hotel. The view from the room of the river is nice, especially at sunrise, and the Hydraulic Bar is a great place to unwind after a long day with an incredibly friendly staff. Literally, my only complaint is the lack of coffee makers in the room.

There was not much service to be offered. The parking lot is across the street which is not a problem but it poured all weekend. You can only enter through the main doors and that is a far walk from the parking lot in the rain. The surrounding area is not developed.

Just so so. Fitness center is another business that's across the street, so just be prepared for that. The parking lot is across and down the street, so plan accordingly to drop your luggage at the door before parking. The room was very bare-bones and the bed was not comfortable at all. There's no food at the hotel and nothing that's close enough to walk to at night.
