Located on the locally famous "Bay Corner" this home is situated in a multi-generational neighborhood well known to the island of Bermuda.

The property is situated close to the renowned railway trails, offering scenic walks and cycling routes for nature enthusiasts. Public transportation routes are also conveniently accessible, making it effortless to explore the island's attractions.

You'll have the entire lower level of the home to yourself

Step inside and be greeted by a bright and airy living space, tastefully furnished with modern touches. The open floor plan seamlessly connects the living room, dining area, and fully equipped kitchen, creating a perfect setting for and socializing relaxation. The living room has a Smart TV that will allow you to log into your personal streaming accounts.

Each of the 2 bedrooms feature queen beds and are thoughtfully designed to provide a cozy and tranquil atmosphere, ensuring a restful night's sleep. The primary bedroom features an ensuite bathroom, jetted tub, dual shower and a double vanity. The room also features a walk-in closet offering ample space for longer stays.

There are 2 full guests bathrooms with access from the hallways. One bathroom features a tub and shower while the other features only a shower.

The bonus room which can also function as a third bedroom for a 5th and 6th guest is conveniently set-up as an office space/media room. There are computer monitors, an office desk and an additional Smart TV. Just off of this room are french doors which lead out to the expansive front yard.

Outside, you'll find a private patio area where you can bask in the warm Bermuda sunshine. The large split-level front yard offers ample space for the whole family. As a plus! You can explore the lower level where the homeowners have grown pineapples, pawpaw trees, avocado trees and other locally grown vegetation. We kindly ask that these remain for viewing only.

Public transportation is a short walk down the hill. Other options are to rent a scooter and/or EV's from Oleandar Cycles, Current Vehicles, Scooter Mart, Localmotion. You can download the transportation apps like HITCH for taxi reservations. Alternatively, you can contact our concierge in advance to assist with you ground transportation requirements.

The property was in walking distance to the rail trail which ran along the coast. Unfortunately a razor was discovered in the master shower which was not mine nor my hubby’s theeefire left concern about the thoroughness’ of the cleaning process. Additionally the description did not mention the flight of stairs to gain access to the unit which fortunately was not a problem with us but not necessarily the next person. Along that line, the instructions in how to obtain a “key” was not very clear as it only really provided a code which I assumed was for unit entry, not key cabinet entry — that information ought to be clearer.

Perfect!
Great apartment, lovely lication & on the bus route with everything you need. Perfect for me, my son, my daughter & her partner. Plenty of room, we all had our own space. We didn't spend a great deal of time there, mainly to sleep, shower & change. It was however missing a table & chairs to sit in the garden to have coffee & breakfast in a morning. Also the two seperate bathrooms, the showers leaked quite badly, water coming up through the floor tiles like a pipe had broken underneath meant we had to keep towels down permanently & keep washing & changing them. Apart from that a great stay & would definately stay there again.

Very nice surprise!
Bay View Retreat is a lovely place to stay. We were welcomed to a very clean, spacious and comfortable accommodation in Bailey's Bay. This was little corner of Bermuda that is a must see. There is an elevated walkway, formally on old rail line, that provided the opportunity for scenic strolls that were steps away from the house. Additionally, there is a local eatery, The Jamaican Grill, a short walk away not to be missed. It was loads of fun mingling with the locals and sampling the fare. Based upon some of the more expensive hotel and rental options, Bay View Retreat is a home run.

Very nice property. Space is good in this 2 bedroom home with 3 baths and a den/office. Important to know but not clear upon booking...they have 2 coffee makers. One traditional and a French press. They do have all kitchen conveniences. There is an iron and ironing board. Very convenient to bus stops! Great view at the end of driveway and nice walking bridge. You can also walk down to a small beach across the street. Driveway very steep! And there is a flight of stairs down to get to this home. There is no good outdoor furniture which is sad because the yard is beautiful. A hot tub would've been amazing. Crown Point concierge people were very nice.
