Michigan Technological University, Historic downtown Houghton & Hancock, Ripley Ski Hill, Michigan Tech ski and hiking trails, Quincy Mine, Snowmobile Trails, different beaches and much more! Copper Harbor and Mount Bohemia are only 45 minutes from us! Brew a cup of coffee or tea and hangout on the beautiful deck overlooking the bridge with unobstructed views through the glass railing. 😊 Relax and unwind by being screen-free here. Great House
We stayed here for my Son's state's Hockey tournament. It was a great house with lots of open spaces for ease of movement to cook and talk. The view was spectacular and it was so much fun to watch the snow storm role in. This house is atop a steep hill so thank goodness my husband had a truck to make sure we could go up and down with the snowfall. The roads got plowed everyday before we left and it was fine. There are no TVs so we had fun playing some card games we brought!

Amazing house, great location, fantastic views
This place is awesome for larger groups. We came to ski and sightsee in the Keweenaw. This was a return trip the Canal View house and we look forward to returning in the future.Everything about the accommodations is as good as you could ever hope to find. There are relaxing social spaces, sweeping views, a perfectly stocked kitchen, and plenty of sleeping space.If you are looking for a very nice place at a great price, this is the one to book! We came up to see my son compete in the Blizzard Baja Race through MTU. We had a wonderful time, the house was clean and well appointed and the the views are amazing. We would highly recommend for any traveling to Houghton/Hancock!

Super nice place with plenty of room for a group of 8. The view is outstanding. Could have used a few more utensils ( more forks and a snow shovel). There is no TV so Thanksgiving football was difficult.

The location was …………well ……hard to put into words. View is great. Wish I could have stayed another week to catch the fall colors peak. Plenty of room. Nice deck for lounging. We come to the Copper Country a couple times a year and would rent this plac again if available.

An amazing home with an amazing view. Only reason for 4 stars inaccuracy of online listing was because the treadmill and elliptical did not function. Ok though because plenty of beautiful places to hike and walk. The listing did not advertise televisions so it was my fault for being surprised that there are no TVs in the entire home. Again, not a problem because the only thing I wanted to look at was the view from the back deck.

Such a wonderful home to serve as your home base while exploring the Houghton. The view is even more breathtaking than the pictures - day and night. The entire living area is perfectly oriented to maximize the view. If we return to Houghton I won’t even search for other options - THIS is where you want to be!

I stayed at Canal view at the end of July and I couldn't have been happier. As soon as you enter the house and see that view - wow! I thought the bed in the master bedroom was very comfortable and the kitchen was well-appointed. The location was perfect for my daily trips up into the peninsula and there was a grocery store very close by. I liked this property so much that I'm going to book again for next spring!

The property is stunning and so conveniently located. We were having a family reunion and it rained all weekend so all outside activities were cancelled. We all met at our beautiful VRBO home and it worked out great. Can't say enough about the home!

This home is lovely and in the perfect spot for a visit to MTU or a Keewenaw adventure! Our family group of 7 enjoyed everything about this home... the beds were the most comfortable we've ever had, the view is spectacular, the home is well appointed and very comfortable! Lovely Home
My girlfriends and I had a lovely stay at this rental. The view was beautiful and the house was clean and decorated tastefully. Originally there was supposed to be 10 of us and a few weren’t able to make it. In the end, I do think this space is a bit tight for 10 adults, especially if everyone wishes to sleep in a proper bed. It fit our group of 8 adults perfectly.
