I have stayed at Braemar before and it was excellent. It is now quite dated and small things are wrong. No matching wine glasses, TV not mounted properly, flickering lights. The restaurant was previously fantastic, now a shadow of its former self. Quite sad.

We had a fantastic stay at Braemar Lodge! The rooms were absolutely stunning — spacious, beautifully decorated, and luxurious. The bed was enormous and incredibly comfortable, making it hard to leave in the morning! One of the highlights was the toasty fireplace, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere, perfect for relaxing after a long day. The bathroom was something special — huge, with a spa bath and a lovely view to enjoy while soaking. Such a treat! The lodge also has a fabulous spa that added an extra layer of indulgence to our stay. The only downside was the check-in experience. There was no staff at the front desk when we arrived, so we had to self-check-in, find our room, and take our own bags. It felt a bit impersonal for such a luxurious lodge, but thankfully, the room and overall experience made up for it. If they improve the front desk service, it would be flawless. Overall, a stunning place to unwind and indulge!

Braemar lodge is in a quiet location with a great view. The accommodation was spacious, comfortable, modern and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay.

Amazing stay. We had a suite and absolute loved it, it was huge, we had our own spa, and an amazing view. Will definitely be coming again. Our only mistake was heading down for breakfast at 0930 to find out it was closed by then.

The water wasnt safe to drink, we were not told about this. The cleaner told us, also the sign in the bathroom said the water had issues but they were rectifying it but it was safe to use. It smelt like sulpher. The spa was dirty and very old looking. There was mould in the bathroom around the spa bath sealant and abouve the shower. The furniture was okd and tired looking. We ordered food just a small meal. The soup was bland and tasteless, pumpkin I think, however on the menu it said vege soup. My partner ordered satay chicken sticks, they had a corn and pepper salsa not satay sauce. The spa bath kept turning on through out the night every 15 minutes. The windows and glass fence were filthy. Really gone down hill, tired and overgrown with weeds in the gardens. Very disappointed as not cheap to stay.

Unfortunately this trip wasnt as great as expected. Having paid over $330 for the night, we ended up having a rather smelly night. There was an oder coming from somewhere behind the fire place (gas smelling but the gas was turned off for the summer) which the staff was unable to locate. Being fully booked that night, we were unable to change to a different room and had to spend the night in a quite pungent smelling room. We did receive a discount the next morning but none the less i am still unsure if i will visit again. Restaurant was quite over priced for what we received for dinner, lovely flavors, but i expected more considering the amout i paid. This is also the second time i have visited Braemar and on both occasions the spa part ofbthe business has been closed or unavailable. Rather disappointing, not once but twice. So dont book a stay with the expectation of being able to book a massage on your visit.

Beautiful property with amazing views from the room. The room was huge and so comfortable. Highly recommend staying and would absolutely go back again!! The only thing that would make this room even better is proper toiletries in the bathroom instead of joint shampoo and conditioner and a small throw on the couch to get all cosy by the fire

About 10 minute drive out of town, but truly worth it. We had room 15. From the time we walked in everything was wow. Large bathroom with a two person spa. King size bed and it also had a fire place. Out on to the patio and wow again. The views of gardens and the mountains was spectacular. Sitting on the patio with those views and the serenity of the area was awesome. Breakfast was included and was buffet style hot and cold, with those views again.
