Beautifully and tastefully decorated boutique hotel with a perfect location next to the Cathedral, in the heart of the old quarter and within walking distance to most attractions. A wonderful breakfast and flawless customer care. Ken &Jack went above and beyond to help us with all details for our stay from airport transfers to tours and even assisting us with our next stay. The service and the “ going the extra mile “ is a definite beyond this brand hotel. The GM Jack and staff are always on hand to provide exceptional hospitality. We were celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary and Jack had planned a special surprise in our upgraded room. We always felt welcomed in this hotel. This boutique hotel is highly recommended for guests seeking a special stay in the ‘ old quarter ‘ in Hanoi.

This property is a luxury oasis in the amazing vibrant city of Hanoi. The hotel has great facilities including the restaurant and roof top bar area. All of this is eclipsed by the staff throughout the hotel who make you feel genuinely special and their generosity of spirit is unique...world class!!

Great 5 star hotel in the Old Quarter Hanoi . A great Roaring Twenties motif with amazing era furnishings. Rooftop bar and pool and a great spa downstairs. Perfectly located near all the activities in the Old Quarter. Great dining room with excellent food. The very best thing is the staff at all levels. The concierge staff are fantastic. They will find you , provide you or fix anything and everything you need . I have to mention Camellia , while everyone was wonderful she is amazing , beyond 5 star service ! Thank you Grande Hotel du lac , you made Hanoi a must return.
