We wanted a hotel in the Old Quarter to really get a feel for the city and this hotel delivered. Angela and all the front end staff were extremely helpful with all of our questions. The only downside was not reading closely enough that there were stairs between the lift and the floor you were on

The royal palace hotel is in a quieter area where you can hear yourself think and surrounded by amazing restaurants and cafes. The rooms are spacious and clean with comfortable beds. We were lucky enough to have the deluxe family room which has a huge balcony overlooking the city. Jim is an exceptional manager. Always friendly and helpful. Organised our tours and transfers and we were never disappointed.

We used the Royal Palace Hotel as our basis for trips to other spots like Hoi An and Ha Long Bay. So it was a little like coming home after a couple of days. The staff is very friendly an they'll help you when ever you may need help. They also gave us very valuable recommendations for our stay in Hanoi and our trips. Although it's in the middle of Hanoi, this hotel is very quite so it's perfectly located to have a relaxing place after exiting experiences in Hanoi.

We had a lovely stay here for two nights. The bed was really comfortable and the room very quiet. the location is fantastic - everything is only a 5 minute walk away. We particularly appreciated how kind the staff were - Jennie was very friendly to us and Bao made our stay amazing by helping us move into our room very early after we arrived on a sleeper train. everything was very clean and we fully recommend. Breakfast was also brilliant.

The hotel is located in a great interesting area, perfect to enjoy Hanoi by foot. The staff was very helpful to get my bearings, organize tours and transport snd was solving issues on the fly. I think the hotel would be way different without this great staff.

Second-to-none hospitality and warmth from Jennie, Jimmy and the rest of the staff at the Royal palace Hotel. Can't recommend them highly enough. Each staff member bent over backwards to make us feel at home, going the extra mile time and time again. We stayed a few nights here, went to Halong Bay and Ninh Binh for a few nights, and came back to stay here again. It felt like coming home. Our last morning we had to leave before breakfast to catch our place. Lien got up early and made us sandwiches to take along to the airport. The accommodations are in a small side street in the Old Quarter of Hanoi. Close walking distance to the lake, shopping, peddle cart tours, spas, restaurants, etc. Beds are comfy, rooms are quiet. Breakfast is made-to-order and the menu includes Western and Vietnamese dishes. We would definitely stay here again, and would recommend it to anyone.

Very nice rooms, friendly and helpful staff. Everything written on Expedia.com is right about Jim. Jim seems to be the manager. He really goes out of his way to help his guest.He walked me to the pharmacy to help explain what i needed for my ailments. Hotel is located very close to attractions in Hanoi. Breakfast was made to order.I recommend this property.

The property was very clean. The breakfast options were good. There was a toothbrush, tooth paste, comb provided as well as shower gel. The room isnt completely sound proofed though and is on an intersection.

We‘ve been to Royal palace hotel and had a really nice stay there. The rooms are clean and the breakfast is also really nice. The best part was that Jimmi helped us booking a tour to Sapa, Halong bay and ninh binh. We really enjoyed the whole trip and we would do it every time again!

My wife and I booked this hotel through Expedia.com. We had travelled to Ho Chi Minh City before, but this was our first trip to Hanoi. The Hotel is ideally situated for all the main attractions of the City. It is very clean, and provides excellent services, such as Wifi, Cable tv, fridge, safe, mini-bar. It is very reasonably priced, The staff speak English, and are very helpful. They can also arrange tours, such as the City Tour (two options) and the Halong Bay Tour,We went on both, and had a thoroughly enjoyable time. Breakfast is very good, free tea/coffee in reception 24/7, I thoroughly recommend this hotel, and would rebook again when we return to Hanoi at sometime in the future. The hotel does not provide an evening meal, but Reception are able to order European/Vietnamese food from a good local restaurant, which can be eaten in the hotel.

This hotel was a great find! Recommended by a friend and it was perfect for our needs. Worked with staff to book tours and they were very accomendating! The staff (Jimmi) was amazingly friendly and helpful. We booked our tours throught the hotel (Ms. Phuong Bui) and it could not have been easier. The tours were well organized and friendly as well, which shows well for the hotel-I am so glad they use good tour groups. Breakfast was really good and you could order from a menu or have cereal and fruit or both! Wonderful Stay!
