Cordelia and the Gull...

A character filled light and airy original shack located right on the beach at Hardwicke Bay with expansive views across turquoise water and pristine beaches. Uniquely placed to enjoy the coastal environment and dynamic bird life right in front of your door – there is no road between you and this breath taking vista. The samphire covered rocky point and endless beaches provide hours of entertainment for nature lovers & intrepid explorers.

Hardwicke Bay is a safe and protected area that offers parents peace of mind while watching the kids enjoying the crystal-clear shallow waters from the comfort of the deck. Great fishing, whether from shore, kayak or boat and multiple water sport opportunities abound. The shack, an old school building, was relocated to its current location in the early 1960’s. It is tastefully appointed with a chef’s kitchen, and open plan living overlooking the water. There is one Queen bedroom & two rooms both with single bunk beds. The property is Ideally suited to a family of 2 adults and up to 4 children, (NOT 6 adults) or a couple's retreat. Please bring your own linen and towels.

This lovely shack and the beautiful surroundings will form the backdrop to many happy memories in both the summer months with so much outdoor living, and the cooler seasons watching dramatic storms roll in while curled up in front of the wood burning stove.
We’re offering our much-loved holiday shack to share with others and respectfully ask that guests enjoy the area, while taking into consideration the quiet location, neighbours and family orientated demographic.

BYO: Coffee and Coffee pods, (tea provided). Sheets, towels and extra blankets if it is cold. (Pillows and quilts provided).

Beautiful Beachfront stay with minor setback
Stunning views, plenty of space, an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway. However, the experience was dampened by an ant infestation in the pantry which got into our food supply and we had to throw it away. While the location and overall atmosphere were beautiful, the inconvenience of dealing with pests affected the overall enjoyment of our stay.
