Ideal stopover for Heathrow
Excellent hotel, reception staff really helpful. Food was good but expensive. Great views of the runway ! Plenty of parking at an additional cost of £15. Large family room was well equipped with everything needed.

We had a very bad experience from the moment we arrived and the attitude of the staff member at the from desk Miss Di Costa was awful. She didn’t make up feel welcome and when my husband had to leave for an emergency she refused to reserve our parking spot despite us having paid for it and explaining it was an emergency. She said that if he moved the car then he would not get a space back. So he had to take taxis from and back to the hotel! This was terrible customer service and not at all friendly or helpful. We have stayed k. Hotels all around the world and this was by far the worst experience.

There is a strong smell of jet fuel that permeates the outside of the hotel that was through no fault of the hotel, but a reality. Strong. The lighting is inconvenient and requires your key card to be placed in a slot on the wall before any Lights work. Hard when you arrive at night. The bathroom is the strangest thing I’ve ever seen in a hotel. The walls are made of frosted glass so when you turn a light on in the middle of the night, the whole room lights up. No privacy either because the sound travels through the door gap. The bed was terrible and sloped so badly I had a hard time rolling over away from the slump. Terrible. Not going back.

The location is ideal for Terminal 3 and the rooftop bar makes this stand out from others along the same stretch of road. Hotel is clean and modern with good food options. We booked a premier book which gave us a runway view. However, we were on floor 5 which was below the restaurant and it was very noisy so I would ask to be moved to another place next time.

Nice room accommodations. I don’t sleep well under a duvet so I asked for a thin blanket and a sheet. They sent up a sheet and another duvet. I also asked for a bucket of ice and they said to hoof it up to the bar and they would give me ice. Then I asked for a washcloth and was told they don’t have any. Service at this location was sub-par to my usual Marriott experience. That’s all folks
