The Space:
This three-bedroom home, featuring an additional den, is tailored for those seeking both relaxation and entertainment. The inviting, fully stocked kitchen beckons, complemented by plush couches, a captivating game room, an outdoor fire pit, and the allure of a hot tub. Comfortable beds await in each of the three main-level bedrooms: the first boasts two twin beds, the second a queen size, and the third is the master suite with a queen size bed and private full bathroom. A full bathroom with a tub/shower combo graces the main hallway. The lower level unveils a den with a queen size bed and an engaging game room adorned with a poker table, board games, and ping pong table. Convenience meets functionality with the inclusion of a washer and dryer on the lower level.

Step outside to a world of serenity among the trees, enhanced by the soft glow of string lights. The private hot tub, adjacent fire pit, and outdoor picnic area create an idyllic backyard setting, perfect for family gatherings or group get-togethers. Please note, weather permitting, AWD is recommended.

River Access: Guests utilizing the key to access the river lot are required to return the key upon departure and send a confirmation message to the host to acknowledge its return. In the event of loss or misplacement of the key, resulting in its unavailability, guest(s) will be subject to a fee of $500.00. This fee is non-negotiable and NO exceptions will be made.

In the Area:

1. Harpers Ferry Historic District (distance from house - 18 mins): Stroll through the Historic District, with its cobblestone streets, old brick buildings, and charming shops. The district is a step back in time, with preserved 19th-century architecture. The Harpers Ferry Train Station is also a noteworthy stop if you love history and old railways. Feeling adventurous? Harpers Ferry has a haunted past, and there are ghost tours available in the evenings. You can explore the darker side of the town's history, visiting old churches, graveyards, and other eerie spots.

2. Appalachian Trail (distance from house - 10 mins): Runs through Harpers Ferry, and the town is often considered the "psychological halfway point" for thru-hikers. If you're into hiking or nature walks, you can take a short hike to see breathtaking views of the Potomac River and the surrounding mountains.

3. Jefferson Rock (distance from house - 20 mins): Located within the Harpers Ferry National Historical Park, Jefferson Rock is a scenic viewpoint named after Thomas Jefferson, who visited the area in 1783 and admired the view. It’s a short hike to the top, where you’ll get a fantastic view of the rivers and surrounding landscape.

4. Tour the Local Wineries & Breweries (distance from house - 20 mins): Home to a number of local wineries and breweries. Stop by Breaux Vineyards or The Harpers Ferry Brewing Company for a relaxing afternoon of wine tasting or craft beer sampling.

5. Catoctin Mountain Park (distance from house - 50 mins): A bit farther out, Catoctin Mountain Park offers great hiking opportunities with views of the surrounding landscape. It's a more rugged park with excellent trails for varying skill levels, including the Catoctin Mountain Trail and Blue Ridge Trail.
