We offer customizable shuttle options and prepared picnic lunches/backpacks for guests who wish to enjoy several stops along the tour, please email Karan at karantownsend@gmail.com for more information about shuttle packages.
Located 22 miles away from Harpers Ferry, Frederick, Maryland is a popular destination to explore shops and restaurants in the downtown historic district. This property is rustic- a house built in 1820. It is simple beauty not luxury. I loved the period pieces in the room. The owner and staff are friendly, helpful and full of insight. Their Market Place is fully stocked. There are plenty of patios for enjoying privacy in the back or mountain and town views in the front. Absolutely loved my stay and was truly sad to leave.

Quaint and comfortable!

We had a lovely one night stay in the mountain view room. The bed was comfortable, the host was gracious, and the building was old and gorgeous.
