Disappointing & uncomfortable stay in unloved house
This unloved house had inadequate amenities (e.g. kitchen utensils were lacking, pans were uneven making cooking difficult). We arrived in height of summer and the house was a sauna (no AC), making for a very uncomfortable stay. One of the nights, backyard neighbour from hell blasted music at max volume from dusk till after 2am (speakers were directly pointing to our bedrooms and living area), we had 3 young kids who were not able to sleep. The sofa was sagging and lumpy, the mattresses were saggy and lumpy making for an uncomfortable sleep (if any sleep was possible). For the 4 nights that we were there, there was not sufficient toilet paper, or basic toiletries. The dishwasher was not washing properly, so we had to re-wash everything by hand. BBQ was rusty and looked so filty, we didn't dare / want to use it. Garage was locked, so we were unable to use it. There was a general mustiness to the place. The shower sliding door is jammed / faulty. Truly a sorry state, despite its location. For the price charged, it was not worth it, we should have stayed home in comfort. The ppty manager was also not responsive, we emailled asking for late check out, but didn't receive any reply. Had to chase them to take the final payment on phone instead of them following up. Had an impression that they were simply too busy with multiple properties to be able to cope with volume.

The property is in a ok location close to the water, The property inside was very dusty with spider webs throughout, there was cockroach droppings in the utensil draw we had to clean the kitchen and cupboards, BBQ did not work and very dirty, outdoor chairs rusted and unusable, everything in this holiday property is dated and needs to be replaced, we were not impressed with the cleanliness of this property and its general overall condition and would not recommend this property. When we complained about the condition of the property the response was not helpful and very disappointing and still charge us a cleaning fee.

Great Seachange Holiday
The house is located right on the main street in Harrington and has a great view across to the water. Opening the windows to let the breeze in every night was amazing. You are just minutes away from anything you need in Harrington. There are 2 great pubs and a bowling club and a number of other options to eat out, including the Thai restaurant right next door. We were there with 3 little girls aged 3 and we found that the lagoon and crowdy head beach favourite safe spots for then to splash around and play. Its a great family place to enjoy a holiday. Kevin
