Property Manager was horrible
We contacted Vacasa MULTIPLE TIMES from the minute we checked in regarding the dish network and internet not working, bbq being left with food still on it, jacuzzi was filthy with debris and leaves in it and it was cold, etc., the list goes on. Their customer service was the worst we’ve ever experienced and with each text and call we made, which were MANY came the promises of someone coming out to fix things or someone calling us back. One lady promised to “personally call us back” which never happened. No resolution to the issues. Due to no internet and us owning our own business we had to leave and they REFUSED to give us a refund. Worst experience ever renting a house and I would never do business with them again. I hope the owners of the house see this and fire them. Totally unacceptable! I should have read reviews as the same issues have been going on for years.

View is outstanding!
Booked this for a girl's weekend which was just perfect. Property was easy to find, loved the opportunity to park in the garage, and easy to pack in and pack out. Long way to the water, many steps. We all loved the three decks, especially right out the bedrooms. Will be booking in the summer!

Don't get caught up by the hype!
This was to be a place to retreat and relax at the end of a busy vacation. The main draws for us were the hot tub and access to the lake. We weren't able to enjoy either! The mgmt company left a msg saying the hot tub had been cleaned and might take a few hours to warm up after check in so we waited until the following a.m. to go, it registered a chilly 67 degrees! Disappointef, we decided to go to the lake instead. After the long treacherous walk to the dock (the stairs were very steep toward the end, then dumped you out on top of a few yards of rocks to navigate before you reached the path to the dock). Once we made it to the dock we found the swim ladder totally unscrewed from the dock, flopping around and being held on by two flimsy ropes. If it supported weight at all it would have been a struggle to try to use, the bottom of the ladder swung loose enough to fold back under the dock if weight was out on it. And crawling back out of the lake across the rocks was not what we signed up for! It was clean. Needed some minor maintenance items attended to. The kitchen was adequately equipped. They should disclose that the bedrooms are downstairs at the bottom of a tightly wound freestanding spiral staircase. The view from the top deck was lovely...but if we wanted a place to just sit and LOOK at the lake there were a lot of options at half the cost! We contacted the mngmt company with our disappointments/concerns, got a standard reply message with the assurance they would contact us soon...haven't heard anything since. As beautiful as this appears, don't get caught up in the hype!

Hideaway with a view
The home is situated in the hills, approx. 30 minutes off the freeway on a windy road. The last quarter mile or so is a single-lane dirt road, but it isn't that bad. We had no trouble parking a large truck and full-size sedan on the property. There was an attached 3-car garage with one space available for additional parking. The house was clean and fully stocked, except a few things noted below. The kitchen had plenty of cookware, some spices and oil, and a coffee maker with a few ill-fitting filters. The dishes were sufficient to serve our group of 6. A basket in the full-bath contained a bunch of random hotel-sized toiletries. There was plenty of patio furniture for our group to sit outside and enjoy. The indoor stairs to the lower level is a narrow spiral staircase. After bringing in our baggage, we realized it would have been much easier to use the outdoor stairs – especially for the luggage. The listing of beds is not current. One bedroom has a queen and the other a full. There is a full pull-out couch. The other couch has a trundle that might make it into another full-sized bed. Unfortunately, the trundle is broken and the couch is made of some leather-type material that is extremely uncomfortable to sleep on. When we arrived, the dishwasher was full of dishes. We weren't sure if they were clean, so we opted to run the wash a second time, but there was no dishwasher detergent. We had to buy our own detergent to run a load of someone else's dishes. Likewise, there were no dryer sheets available for laundry. The top-floor patio railing is loose. This was terrifying. We spent the whole trip warning others to stay clear and “don’t lean on the railing”. I think a fall from that patio could kill a person. I can’t believe the homeowners and property managers have left it as is. But, so long as everyone stayed away from the railing, we really enjoyed that patio. The hot tub was filthy. We used it once and the smell was so bad we didn't bother to try again. This was extremely disappointing as the hot tub was one of the major factors for us in booking this property. I wouldn't have paid such a high rental fee without it. We counted – there are 143 steps on the stairwell from the house to the beach. The stairs felt safe enough, but they are a little rickety and only one side has a handrail. It was easier to load our boat from the dock, rather than carry our things down those stairs.

Disappointed
Pros: quite perfect for person not planning to leave house. Cons: - hot tub broken frozen cold and super dirty could not use. House 11 miles from road on a very windy bad road. Go to store before you go for anything you want to eat/drink. Fireplace did not work. House super cold we froze could not keep warm heat pump kept resetting to 50°. We almost left a day early because of this. Very dangerous staircase do not recommend for use at all did not feel safe. Not practical for adults or children bedrooms downstairs. Dishwasher was full when we arrived. House overall needs maintenance and we were disappointed we reserved for the hot tub and could not use.

Misrepresented property
The sofa sleeper was broken and unusable even to sit on. The hot tub has not been working for months, yet there is a hot tub fee added to your statement. There are over 200 steps down to a rocky “ beach”. Dock cannot moor a large boat though it says it is a 42” dock. We were refunded one night of our stay, I feel we should have gotten a total refund. We were looking for forward to the hot tub and not hiking down to the cold lake, that was an entire bust! Broken tiles in entrance. Shoes asked to be removed & my sister cut open her foot. Chipped coffee cups. No aluminum foil or plastic wrap. These sort of these should be supplied for the price they are charging. The place was very clean though. Whoever does this, is doing a great job.

Basic Maintenance Lacking
Cute little house with a killer view. Unfortunately, basic maintenance has been totally neglected. In addition to the faucets (especially the kitchen faucet) and the vent fan in the downstairs bathroom, which have been mentioned by previous reviewers, there are numerous other items that are not in working order. Most importantly, the electrical system to the oven/stove was not operational. We therefore were not able to use the oven. We were able to use the stove by turning on the gas to a burner and lighting it with a lighter. Having the gas valved in to the stove without a pilot creates the potential for a significant safety incident. This needs to be addressed ASAP. Other maintenance items include a several foot gap in the screen of the living room slider and a light out in the laundry room. Also, the password that was provided for the WiFi was incorrect; the correct password is printer on the router.

Beware
Arrived and a/c was not working. 82 in the unit. Rental company had local manager who did not have a/c guy available. Both rental company and manager offered to comp us first night for our inconvenience which never happened. Hot tub was 72 degrees. Septic was full and overflowing off back of property. Two living room couches were very uncomfortable to sit on, and one had pull out bed that was sitting on the garage floor. Wife had to wash sheets as pillow cases were dirty. Views from deck are amazing. But we cannot recommend this unit until owners put some money into it.

Stellar view, needs some TLC
Friends and I stayed at this property before in August 2020. It needed some small repairs at that point and this year those repairs were far more necessary. The stairs are what they are…many, steep and not in the greatest shape, but we expected that. Both hide a beds were broken so we ended up pulling the mattress topper from the hide a bed onto the floor for an adult couple to sleep on, this was unacceptable. I would really like some type of refund back for that situation because that was not pleasant and they did not stay the next 2 nights as they were supposed to! The bathroom fan downstairs does not work, it did not work last year and the faucet on the kitchen sink is about ready to fall off. It is a great property it just needs some TLC and repairs.

Great views, but cabin isn’t kept up
The good: The gorgeous view and water. The bad: Rented this in the winter, so that certainly changed our experience. The beds had summer sheets and the heater took all night to move the temperature up a few degrees (and not to where we set it). The faucets are all not attached to the wall/ counters. They stick out on their pipes and wobble when you use them. I’m not sure how they were all installed incorrectly in the same way, but that is indicative of many things in the house which wobble and feel if they are going to break when you use them. The decor is bad, and that too was more noticeable because we were indoors all day and not on the water. Everything looks like it was purchased at TJ Maxx on clearance as it is cheap, doesn’t match, and their isn’t much of it. Kind of a sparse feel to the place. The internet is too slow to load the login page of Netflix. The TVs are new - which is nice, but whoever put them in wasn’t sure what remotes were the new ones and what were the old ones. There are 3 TVs in the house and like 8 remotes in front of each and figuring out which remote to use for each TV is a nightmare. Also, when we got there the dishwasher hadn’t been unloaded which made it feel like they hadn’t cleaned the place in the middle of COVID.

Cozy home with fantastic view
We enjoyed our stay for two nights with friends. Home is cozy with super view! We are lucky and first night we met with snowstorm and without electricity (was cold enough inside, and no any power generator), but next day was really perfect with great lake view and electricity. Only thing is spiral staircase is really challenging for kids and some folks. Overall home is in good shape with super view and clean.

My wife and I greatly enjoyed our visit. Very comfortable home, very well located, and well furnished. Access to the lake is via a 144 step staircase, good workout! There were a couple loose faucet fixtures, and the interior spiral staircase will challenge some folks, but overall the home is in good shape. And the lake view is superb!

Overall ok. Cold wind hampered the enjoyment of the deck during the day. Steps to the beach were dangerous and the had rail was broken in on place. No beach really, very rocky. Spiral staircase was loose, narrow and steep. There were no instructions for ROKU cable TV and streaming service was not good. Ice maker was turned off. BBQ ran our of propane during our second meal. Hot Tub was cloudy. Infamous neighbor was not home. Was a nice venue the day of our wedding but very hurried as we were not allowed to enter the house an hour early. Would not visiter there again.

Breathtaking
Me, my wife, our two teenage daughters and their two friends (ages 15) recently stayed 6 nights. We were all blown away by the stunning view and had a blast at the lake everyday. The stairs were never a problem - yes there are 144 not counting those in/on the house - but we enjoyed the exercise and a day down at the water, enjoying the views and all the lake has to offer made the climb back up at the end of the day absolutely worth every step! A few things we recommend addressing: NEIGHBOR: Unfortunately, we had a bit of a run-in with the neighbor and my wife called the sheriff's office to report his creepy behavior (spotlight shining right on the hot tub and he sitting on his deck just adjacent to hot tub while occupied). We also spoke to the management about the situation and they were very supportive and even offered to move us to a new location had any comparable sites been available. BED: The bed in the master feels like its frame may break soon and someone should tighten it, but it was comfortable. The girls had no complaints about the second bed or pull-out couches (futons are no longer present). GRILL: This was dirty and there was no grill brush provided/located. We improvised and survived, but were surprised. Some other notes: -The drive to Coeur D'Alene for supplies was 36 minutes one-way, when driving in the morning, so a trip to town was not an imposition. -We didn't have an issue with mosquitoes. -There are two chairs on the dock you can use, but they are older, so you may want to bring extra. -There is a covered area on the dock that provides shade.

Lovely home on a beautiful lake
This is a beautiful home on a beautiful piece of property. Pleasant surprise was that instead of futons, they were upgraded to pull out couches (much more comfortable). The only downside was the stairway down to the lake. As mentioned, there are 178 stairs between the house and the lake, so you really want to plan your trips down. Especially appreciated the covered portion of the dock, to get into the shade when needed, and the hot tub to sooth my leg muscles after the climb up the stairs! There is a beautiful green swallow that has made a nest in the vent coming out by the deck, we really enjoyed watching him. Overall, a lovely place to get away.

Perfect weekend getaway
The property was beautiful and clean. Slept 7 comfortably. Perfect for a family with older children or a girls weekend. I took my daughter and her friends. I wouldn’t suggest it for couples unless there are only 2 couples as the other 2 beds are upstairs and in the main family room. The previously described futons are actually pull out sofas. The house was very well stocked and had everything we needed including plenty of towels, bedding, pillows, kitchen equipment, etc. I was not familiar with the area and planned to make a quick stop in Harrison for groceries- big mistake! Stop before you get off I-90. Once you take the Harrison it’s above 45 minutes of windy roads with no services. Stop at the Sand Point exit on Hwy 95 it has the most stores. The lake is beautiful and clear. The dock was a great place to hang out. They provide a few chairs. The 144 stairs are a workout but not impossible. I would think twice if you had small kids or older adults. Lastly, the “dreaded” neighbor. We never saw him. In fact it looks as if he is not around for the summer. His dock looks untouched. Lots of weeds, chairs stacked on the deck, no boats in the water, empty boat trailer in the drive, etc. It was a nice surprise because I really didn’t want to deal with that!
