Mountain Vie and Espresso Martinis Make This Place
The hotel was lovely given its proximity to JMU and other hotels I’ve stayed at in the vicinity. The bartender was AMAZING as were his Espresso Martinis. Would. One back for that alone!

Swimming pool was excellent-front desk could not of been more helpful. Breakfast was delicious and reasonable. Just a great experience -I will stay again on my next trip.

Great Hotel
Beautiful hotel right near I-81. It is located on a hill and we slept on the 5th floor so we had a very nice view. The breakfast was superb! But there is an extra charge for that. The only problem with cleanliness for us was that a small table in our room was dirty when we arrived.

I was VERY impressed with this property. SO much so that we booked it again for the return trip. Super pet friendly with a dedicated walking area (with available poop bags). I really like that they had a friendly bar and lounge area. A LOT of nice places outside to just sit and relax. And the price range was perfect for our budget. This has become our new default chain to use for travel.

Most hotels that are typically located together just out of town are limited service but not the Hyatt Place at Harrisonburg. It was in great condition and the staff were incredibly friendly but the real winner was the roof top bar where you could order good quality small plates from a varied menu with great views over Shenandoah NP. Would definitely use again

Hotel is nice but not worth the cost. The room itself was very nice and we loved the room darkening blinds. The bed was comfortable, however, there is little to no soundproofing between rooms and floors. So we were kept up by all our neighbors all through the night. If you are a light sleeper this is not the hotel for you. Even the music in the lobby was too loud for a hotel. The staff was not at all friendly or welcoming.
