Harsh lighting, Smail room was offered upgraded room and charged for upgrade but hotel didn’t have one. Thermostat in room didn’t work had to manually try to set. At unit couldn’t get temp right. Toilet handle needed to jiggle to stop toilet from running poor seating window seat not a couch

Everything you really need
Rooms are small, but that’s what Microtel is. Comfortable, clean, people are friendly. Everything you really need unless things like pools are necessary.

Staff was very nice. Our room was a bit dusty, but otherwise very clean. I currently have handicap placard because of recent surgery. During the day, it was not a problem, finding a spot when we returned in the evening there was no open handicap spot. In fact, there was no parking other than one electrical car spot. We ended up taking it since that was our only choice. The ice machine wasn’t working or couldn’t keep up with demand.

I went to visit with my college student grandchild for a weekend. I don’t require much…this satisfied my needs. Most importantly, it was clean. I like having a breakfast included and it was varied and good.

Expedia indicated all pets are accepted but when arrived at the hotel with a cat I was told Expedia had not updated the new policy whereas no cats are allowed…so ended up in a hotel that was rated much lower and would have cost me much less if it had been booked earlier…Expedia did not cover all the difference in cost.

Its a nice clean hotel at a low price. The staff were super nice. The room was clean and had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Beds and pillows were comfy. The free breakfast was great with a very nice selection. We would stay here again!
