Particularly appreciated the accessibility features, noting a lift for the pool and the hot tub; and appreciating the walk-in shower with grab rails and stool in the room as requested. Breakfast fare was average. Hot beverages available all day. Would have liked a quiet area for a business call, other than the pricey meeting room, but locations were fine for non-confidential calls. In evenings many trucks for a local company took many parking spots, meaning available parking was further back in the lot (a commercial parking arrangement with the hotel?). The staff were without exception helpful and friendly.

Staff were available and pleasant. Many trucks for the same company were parked each evening, taking many spots and meaning available parking was further away (perhaps a parking deal with the hotel?) - we still found parking. Accessibility options were very good, with lifts for both the pool and the hot tub and the accessible shower in the room first-rate. Breakfast options were average. I wish there had been a quiet nook for a business call other than the pricey meeting room.

The property is pleasantly nicer than the photos posted pre -renovation. The property has a peaceful woods surround with lovely landscaping. The staff is courteous, the rooms are perfectly suitable and the breakfast is ample. I like that there is a train station in Windsor that has new platforms and tracks which can take you to Hartford or Springfield for a couple dollars. You can even change in New Haven to get to Grand Central Terminal in NYC! Then, come back at night to hear the crickets chirping at the property for a good night's sleep.

We used the airport shuttle in the evening and again in the morning for rental car. It was efficient, friendly, and dependable. Our room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast and coffee was fine. Staff was extraordinarily friendly and helpful.

Disappointed! I made sure to make a note, call after I made the reservation, AND called day-of the reservation to make sure that the late check-in had been noted. Upon checking in, the front desk attendant gave attitude claiming a no-show last night and that they might not be able to accommodate. Simple instructions that couldn't be handled correctly.
