We were celebrating our 40th anniversary having stayed at an earlier incarnation of the hotel on our wedding night. We found the stay to be friendly and very helpful.

We stayed here for an Irish dance competition in Hartford. The property is dated and was right next to the bus station. The underground parking garage wasn't easy to get in and out of with our truck. The staff were very polite and helpful. The bathroom was small, the shower curtain wasn't waterproof, and it took a while for the hot water to warm up. The beds weren't very comfortable. If you need a basic room just to sleep, then this hotel is fine. If you want more amenities, then this isn't the place you'll want to stay.

The room and hallways on the 6th floor reeked of cigarette smoke, like it was deeply settled in. We had to wash our clean clothes and jackets when we got home. Staff didn’t explain how the parking gate worked so we had to go back to the office for help. Close to the XL center but I would rather walk further or Uber than stay here again.

Great for the middle of a city and affordable. Room was larger than expected and was clean. Bathroom was pretty good and clean. The staff was AMAZINGLY nice and happy. I will return when I go to Xfinity for concerts!!

Nice for a night
We needed an overnight stay for a wedding. The check in was easy, the room extremely clean. We only stayed the one night but the beds were comfortable. The tv worked fine and check out was easy least. I would definitely stay here again

Owner of this place was very rude, well at least that’s what he said that he was the owner. He completely ignored me when I got there to check in. Then was talking to one of his employees, until I asked him how long until he could check me in. His Answer was rude saying if I didn’t see he was counting some pieces of papers,

Room was clean, staff was friendly, and at least they had breakfast included. Parking was very limited in their small underground parking garage where they allow you to park for a fee, but was fairly secure. Parking is an issue in the entire downtown area (of course), so if you can, you should try to walk whenever possible or you will pay a lot for parking. It's in a decent location where downtown areas are accessible for the price, but the place is old and needs a lot of work. Pipes are so load, every time the other guest flush they would wake me up. I'm sure I did the same thing others on the floor below me. That kinda sucked.

There was hair in the sink, in the shower, and on the towels. The radiator was broken, dusty and moldy. The room was hot, and I could not open the windows. The entire 4th floor smelled like a bad air freshener that was trying to cover up years of cigarette smoke smell. Overall I would not recommend.
