Old Town Charmer Large all new renovation, walk to USM, Zoo and new Water Park!
This 1930's cottage style home is newly 100% renovated, and very comfortably furnish. Enjoy a cool drink on the front porch, or relax in the spacious front living room, dining room or separate TV room! Lots of paved parking and very well maintained. A charming stucco Parkhaven home, walk to USM, multiple restaurants, the Zoo and new Water Park!
Place was exactly as described. Cozy, clean and well kept. Would certainly recommend. Owner we easy to communicate with and quick responses. Thanks so much!
Old charmer, very comfortable for our family to stay during Graduation. Close to University. Rained the whole time, did enjoy the covered porch. Clean and as pictured on website. Would stay again.
We selected this property because of proximity to grandsonâs wedding venue. This house provided the bedrooms and baths we needed for our family group as we got ready for wedding festivities. Upstairs has 2 bedrooms and bath, perfect for three granddaughters. Comfortable decor, kitchen with ample cookware and dinnerware, and several ârelaxingâ spaces.
We had the best weekend! College friends coming together for a USM sorority reunion. This house was close to campus and perfect size to accommodate us. The neighborhood was lovely and quiet. Plus close to Shipleyâs doughnuts!! The hosts have an adorable home. If in Hattiesburg, definitely book it!
The bathrooms were not clean. The ceiling fan in the master bedroom was missing a blade so it could not be used. The handle on the master bathroom toilet was broken. Bedding had stains and could be updated.
Lovely home. Nice amenities overall. Plenty of space for working and spreading out. Very nice kitchen, bed and bathroom accommodations. Some air regulating fluctuations made the temperature vary from room to room in very cold temperatures outside, but there were other amenities that helped. We felt safe and secure and nicely located to get to restaurants and other shopping needs.
The house was fine. Everything was as advertised. Would not have a problem staying there again. The smoke alarm in the living room was chirping so we took it down and removed the battery. It is on the dining room table. The faucet on the sink is loose and needs to be tightened. The gaskets on the shower door in the primary bedroom need some attention.
âOld world charmâ accurately describes this property. A comfortable house for six adults and two children in a quaint neighborhood near everything. A great weekend visit to my old hometown. I would gladly stay here again.
Very happy with the property. Especially the pull out bed for my two year old that hadn't been out of a crib before, super happy to have found that. Everything in the house worked well and it was a nice stay for our T-ball getaway.
We loved the house and neighborhood. The bedrooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. We enjoyed the updated bathrooms. Our party was three adult couples, and each couple had our own bathroom. Kitchen is well equipped. We enjoyed the feeling of being guests in a friendâs house. The clean up process was very reasonable. And we enjoyed the snacks and coffee. The only wrinkle was that the listing includes a hot tub, which was not present - although we hadnât planned to use it. Morning coffee and juice on the front porch was a great send off.
Thank you for a very enjoyable weekend!
The house is older house with several antique furniture pieces in it. The front door sticks and sometimes hard to get in the front door. The owner did advise us of this ahead of our visit, but this needs to be fixed for the next group that stays. The upstairs has no AC so was more uncomfortable for sleeping.
