Friendly, relaxed, cared for and quiet with facilities that fully matched our needs
This accommodation is owned and managed by a couple who understand the needs of their guests and they go out of their way to try to accommodate your needs. Having said that we had as little or as much contact with them as we needed. In our case we were seeking a quiet week away from 'tourist land' where we would be comfortable and undisturbed. This we achieved. The accommodation we stayed in while next to the house and joined to it by an arch (great for keeping the car cool and out of the sun) had it's own sheltered back garden and large covered eating area which is very private and not over looked or disrupted by noise from the main house. We had a great week away from tourists and tasted 27 different Chablis (all premier cru). Went out to lunch a lot. You must have more than one lunch in Chablis to really feel you are beginning to understand the area and it's people. If you are looking for what we were looking for you will have a great time. The only downside maybe the lack of air conditioning but if France had more air conditioning it would be overrun by more wimpy tourists.

In einem französischen Landhaus wohnen, die Kühe als Nachbarn, hervorragendes Essen und Wein in den Städten der Umgebung, die besten Croissants von der malerischen Boulangerie im Nachbarort und Erfrischung im kühlen Pool - wir sind unseren Gastgebern dankbar für den tollen Aufenthalt und hatten eine schöne Zeit!

Excellent weekend!
Nous avons passé un excellent weekend dans cet hébergement. La propriété est magnifique et très bien entretenue. Le logement est parfaitement conforme à la description, fonctionnel, propre et en très bon état. L'espace extérieur attenant au logement est très pratique et convivial pour manger ou se détendre. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié la piscine qui est grande, chaude (environ 26° C), avec tout l'équipement nécessaire (transats, table avec parasol, bouées, ...) pour passer un agréable moment. Nous retiendrons de ce séjour, le calme de la campagne, la bienveillance des propriétaires et le fait de pouvoir profiter seul de la piscine. Nous y reviendrons !

Il faudrait toujours se méfier quand un petit nombre d'appréciations est laissé sur une longue période. La cuisinière fonctionne avec des allumettes. L’évier est très bas et faire la vaisselle casse les reins. Il faut la faire après chaque repas, il y a juste le compte en couverts et assiettes. La bouilloire est très entartrée, préférer le gaz ou le micro-ondes. Le grille-pain minuscule ne s'arrête pas automatiquement. Le ménage est douteux: tortillon de plastique couvert de poussière sous le lit et dont s’échappe une blatte ; nappes en toile cirée noires de crasse, jamais nettoyées sauf un coup d’éponge entre deux passages. La terrasse, soi-disant privative, permet de voir le propriétaire torse nu arrosant son jardin à la fraîche, pendant que l'on dîne. Au-dessus de la cuisinière, une boîte à chaussures noire recouvre le tableau électrique pour le masquer; elle peut tomber tout autant sur la gazinière (allumée) que sur votre tête. La salle de bain avec toilettes est dans la chambre à coucher. Elle s’allume de l’extérieur et s’ouvre avec une porte mal coulissante qui fait du bruit. Quoi qu’on fasse, porte ouverte (!!) ou fermée, dans le noir ou pas, on réveille l’autre. L’été, il faut tout fermer à cause des moustiques et acheter un ventilateur (car le propriétaire n’en donne pas) pour supporter de dormir sans aération. Beaucoup de vaches dans les fermes avoisinantes, et donc beaucoup de mouches aussi, surtout par temps lourd. Pas de sièges blancs avec accoudoirs et coussins (cf. photos piscine), mais des chaises longues en métal inconfortables; pas de grande table en teck avec 6 chaises, mais une petite ronde en métal qui ne date pas d’hier. Très peu d’ombre autour de la piscine avant 16 heures. La photo « sous les tilleuls » avec fauteuils balancelle, est dans la partie réservée au propriétaire. On vous presente toutes les poubelles, où et comment, comme si on devait rester 3 mois, mais le hamac est « là-bas, sous les arbres, vous verrez ». La taille de la terrasse ne permet pas d'avoir à la fois la table de ping-pong et celle pour manger. Enfin, il faut être sûr de ses dates, puisque l’annulation est carrément impossible. Quelques points positifs, qui surnagent parmi ces désagréments. Souhaitons que ceux-ci soient améliorés pour les futurs locataires, surtout à ce tarif exorbitant.

Un séjour au top ! Foncez !
Je ne peux que recommander la location de ce gîte. C'est un couple charmant, avenant et attentionné qui nous y a accueilli. Notre séjour a rimé avec bien-être et détente. Tout est à disposition, le barbecue, la table de ping-pong, le terrain de pétanque, la superbe piscine et même un hamac perché entre deux arbres, la propreté est impeccable. Bref, un séjour royal. Pour les curieux : le gîte est situé à proximité d'une petite ville avec un supermarché (6 minutes en voiture) donc pas de panique pour faire les courses, et idéalement situé entre Auxerre et Chablis, pour les amateurs de Rugby ou de bon vin :) Petit hommage aux gougères de Madame qui étaient incroyables et aux étoiles que nous Lillois ne voyons pas très souvent. Un grand merci et à bientôt !

Calme et sérénité 😌
Accueil chaleureux et qui met à l'aise. Havre de paix, oiseaux et nature, un lieu qui nous a enchanté et séduit de part sa beauté mais aussi par son calme... Un logement confortable et cosy qui offre en plus de ça le nécessaire pour se sentir comme chez soi ! Des propriétaires serviables, à l écoute et attentionnés. Une propriété magnifique, propre et bien entretenue, une piscine géniale dont nous avons profité en toute sérénité. Une région splendide qui cache de beaux édifices à découvrir et de bons restaurants. Un séjour sans fausses notes, plein de souvenirs et d envie de revenir ! Nous avons vraiment apprécié!
Nous avons vraiment apprécié notre séjour. Les propriétaires qui vivent dans le même domaine donnent la priorité aux locataires. Petit bémol: nous avons utilisé la cuisine, la qualité des casseroles et poêles pourrait être améliorée, mais si nous repartons en vacances dans cette région, ce sera à nouveau dans cette résidence!

Havre de paix
Un vrai havre de paix. Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans ce gîte très propre (rare de trouver un gîte aussi propre), avec tout le nécessaire à l'intérieur, et en prime un petit cadeau d'arrivée. Nous avons pu profiter de notre petite terrasse à l'abrit des regards et surtout du barbecue. La demeure est magnifique et la piscine calme et très agréable. Tout est réuni pour passer un super moment, sans oublier le propriétaire adorable et discret, et l'emplacement de la maison, située entre Auxerre et Chablis. Merci.

Wat een heerlijk vakantie adres is dit! Het zwembad is heel erg groot en diep en is vrijwel privé, afgezien van de de eigenaren af en toe s avonds een duik komen nemen. De eigenaren zijn heel erg vriendelijk en staan altijd voor je klaar als je wilt, maar respecteren zeker ook je privacy. De woning zelf is van alle gemakken voorzien met veel extra’s (verse groenten uit groentetuin, flesje wijn uit de regio). Echt een aanrader!

Space, quiet and peace
The owners of this property, Dusanka & Yves, head our list of the property's many plus points. From the moment that we arrived until the moment that we left they were friendly and exceptionally helpful with everything. Simply lovely people. The accommodation itself was much as advertised and entirely to our expectations. The pool is quiet, with a shady corner for those (like me) who prefer to stay out of the sun. During our stay temperatures in the shade reached 42C. At this temperature the house remained fairly cool and the pool was a lifesaver. We could park the car in deep shade, which was also a boon. To pass the time, there's a ping-pong table and other distractions. But during our stay it was so hot that opening the next bottle of wine induced sweat. The location is very rural, surrounded by farming land and little else. The nearest Boulangerie is 5km away, but an easy (e)bike ride. During the night, peace and quiet are to be found in surplus. During the day, farmers can be heard sweating at their toils. For us, the entire Burgundy landscape comes as something of a revelation - it is fantastically beautiful. Rolling hills, fields of sunflowers, large forests, scattered with the odd Auberge here and there. Highly recommended. Finally, for those of you who don't buy any review that doesn't offer criticism, the most significant downside was the flies. Due to the heat, I suppose, there was a surfeit of flies in the house that had us running around with the Zapper that we'd brought. Rather a futile exercise in the end, but yeah, if you choose to stay in the (deep) country, you can expect the country life.

Lovely place in the Bourgogne
We stayed with the 4 (friends) of us at this beautiful place! We really enjoyed the pool, good nights of sleep, the ping pong table, fresh vegetables from the garden and Dusanka was very kind giving us tips. All positive and definitely recommend by all of us!
