Mixed experience
I had mixed feeling about my experience. While the host was exceptionally friendly and helpfull, the accommodation itself left much to be desired. The noise level outside varied greatly; being quite noisy one night and suprisingly quite the next. Considering the cost of accommodation I think this level of noise is a common problem in Old Havana. The appartment themselves are clean and in an interesting style - I'd say Indian style, there is wi-fi and tv-set.

Ramon is kind and means well, however he's a bit lost when it comes to handling bookings. We made two bookings for which we were charged for both through credit cards. He claimed not to have gotten the second and had already given the room to another guest. When asked for a refund afterwards through Expedia, he refused the charge-back. It wasn't for a lot of money, but is a poor way to run a hotel. Be careful booking this property as you may not get what you want.

Ir a Casa de Ramón el artista es conectar de lleno con la esencia de La Habana. Las habitaciones son preciosas y amplias, las zonas comunes están llenas de detalles y vida, todo está hecho con amor y Ramón y su esposa son muy atentos y te ayudan en todo lo que necesites. La ubicación es fantástica. La limpieza de 10! Deseando regresar a Cuba y repetir, sin duda volveríamos, es como estar en casa. Nos encantó!
