Comfy,cozy bed and breakfast in a convenient, walkable location. Tasty, home cooked breakfast and a happy hour at 5pm with snacks and a wine or beer on the house. We stayed one night after a trip to see the bald eagles at the Conowingo Dam,which is about 20 minutes away.

The only place to stay!
I think amazing covers it! Lovely property, lovely rooms. Heather and Tracy were great. Heather helped us at checkin and was so inviting and helpful, you can tell how much she loves theplace. And of course the breakfast was wonderful. I can't imagine staying anywhere else when I'm in the area.

From the moment we arrived we were greeted at the reception area by TERRY....a very nice young woman with a pleasant manner and beautiful smile. She showed us all the amenities of the inn and then escorted us to our room. The room featured a king size bed, large flatscreen tv, full bathroom, fridge, microwave and a full outside porch. The morning breakfast featured made to order items including waffles, eggs etc. This in an absolutely impressive b and b that was built in 1886. We felt very comfortable as soon as we entered the VANDIVER INN and will definately return.

It is a very interesting property. The complex consists of several buildings with different room types. The staff is super friendly and helpful.The only advice I can give is : When checking in make sure there no events scheduled while you are there.We were there three days and had no access to the restaurant (which were looking forward to ) because of private parties!

We had such a lovely and relaxing stay at the Vandiver Inn. We stayed in the Rodgers and it was such a nice room that allowed for much needed relaxation on the porch. The staff is very welcoming and the owner was happy to give us some very good restaurant recommendations! We’re already making plans to come back again! We unfortunately had to check out early due to an emergency but the staff was super understanding and accommodating. We were so sad to prematurely end our stay but we will absolutely be back soon! This was one of the best BnBs I have stayed in.
