Very clean hotel. It does show its age and wear. Room door was questionable it was going to latch. Shower was less than desired.

I was clean. When I checked in is was not going to my room yet so I walked back outside to my truck my brother was waiting for me I had to take him home. Your staff member came outside and said you only have a queen size be in your room. I don't if you guys are a couple or gay she said. I said i am not gay and this is my Brother. Insulted by he words.

Beautiful location, clean rooms, great staff!
Older hotel set on a beautiful pond (photo is our room view of pond) with a lobby like a ski chalet! Big fireplace, comfortable chairs & couches and decorated for fall. Clean, comfortable rooms & lovely staff (Lynette was like being with a good friend - warm, friendly & knowledgeable). We were on a trip we take often but only spend one night going between FL and NC. We’ll be using this hotel each time from now on.
