Charming self-catering lodge in a idyllic rural setting beside Kilbeg Pier on the shores of beautiful Lough Corrib.

Situated a half an hour drive to the north of Galway City (28 km), the property is ideally located as a base for discovering the Galway City, Connemara, South Mayo, Cliffs of Moher, and the Wild Atlantic Way.


● GENERAL: Equipped to be your home away from home. Just bring your groceries and settle in to enjoy the beautiful, serene surroundings. The lodge offers a modern, cozy space, ideal for short breaks or week-long stays for couples and families. It is also wheelchair-friendly for added convenience.

● KITCHEN/DINING: The fully equipped kitchen and dining area includes a coffee machine, gas hob, electric oven, microwave, large fridge freezer, dishwasher, smart TV with Netflix, and a dining table. A washer/dryer is also provided for your convenience.

● STUDY/PLAY ROOM: This space features a 43" Smart TV with Netflix and YouTube, a large three-seater sofa, single arm chair, coffee table, and a desk with a swivel office chair—perfect for relaxing or getting some work done. Wireless internet is available throughout the lodge.

● BEDROOMS: The lodge includes two spacious and comfortable bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-sized bed and an en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower. The second bedroom has a double and single bed, along with a sink and mirror. The study sofa converts into a double bed to accommodate larger groups. All beds are prepared with fresh linens before your stay.

● BATHROOMS: In addition to the master en-suite, the main bathroom is fitted with a glass-enclosed shower and a power shower. Fresh towels are provided for every guest at the start of their stay.

The lodge is heated by a modern gas heating system with a large storage tank, designed for efficiency and sustainability.

● OUTSIDE: Enjoy the expansive gardens. Ample free and secure parking is available on-site. The pier and Lough Corrib are just 200 meters away, offering easy access to stunning waterfront views.

Galway Stay
The house was large and spacious! Went with my family of 4 and there was more than enough room! It was a 30 minute drive from the city which we enjoyed because we also got to enjoy a quieter setting. The pier was a short walk from the property! Would definitely recommend and would stay again if going back to Galway! Neil was great and very responsive!

Wonderful stay at a great location
The cabin had everything we needed for a comfortable stay! Fully equipped with games, entertainment and a fully functioning kitchen/bathroom with everything we needed. Neil was a great host and attentive to our questions/needs. Great place to stay and I would love to come back!

Quite the Memorable Accommodations
Odie’s Lodge was perfect for us. It was situated just a bit north of Galway and has amazing scenery as you drive through the roads. The host was very polite and had wonderful communication. The property was easy to find with a link the host sent as we arrive late at night and in the dark. The bedrooms and bathrooms were clean and the kitchen had plenty of clean dishes to use. Definitely a place we would stay at again!

Outstanding Property
This location was perfect for us; Galway was close enough to reach, but far enough away that we felt like we were in the country. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed for a couple days' stay.
