The log house is renovated and fully equipped. In the living / dining room there are two sofas, and sit together or watching TV. Two large patio doors leading directly onto the terrace and in the spacious garden. The dining area can accommodate 4 persons. In the small kitchen everything is housed what you need. Refrigerator, stove with oven, coffee maker and kettle. then stands for a relaxed sleep in the sleeping area (above the living room by stairs) a 1. 80m x 2. 00m large, double bed ready and an extra bed. read or rest to you can to. 2 Living retire. The comfortable sofa can be converted also to a sofa bed.

Great place to enjoy nature
Located right next to Eifel National Park, this comfortable cabin was a great place to enjoy a few peaceful days taking long walks and having some great meals.

Excellent Property with plenty of space
Normally a very quiet place. During the Kirmes weekend in September music will be heard until 2am at the weekend. Otherwise this place is in a good location. Everything is very clean and the host is most generous in providing lots of towels, toiletries etc. We had a good time. Thank you.

Lovely place to stay - sehr schon
Stayed for 4 nights in August to go walking and cycling in the Eifel National Park. It was very close by and the trails could reached within 5 minutes by foot or bike. The chalet was lovely - very clean and in a beautiful setting with lovely views from the sunny terrace. Had everything we needed and the owner was very friendly and helpful. The town of Heimbach is also very pretty and a nice place to walk to (a bit of a hill on the way back!). Thoroughly recommend and would love to come back again.

Es war sehr schön in Heimbach
Es hat uns gut im Ferienhaus der Familie Küpper gefallen. Es ist schön kuschelig und gemütlich für 2 Personen. Die Küche hatte im Wesentlichen alles, was man für die Selbstversorgung benötigt. Wir haben auch die schöne Terrasse, die nicht nur mit Tischen und Stühlen, sondern auch mit Liegen bestückt war umfangreich nutzt. Beim Bäcker unten im Ort konnten wir uns jeden morgen mit frischen Brötchen versorgen und in den 2 vorhandenen Supermärkten bekommt man alles, was man braucht. Zu Fuß ist man allerdings schon gute 25-30 Miunten unterwegs, vor allem wenn man auf dem Rückweg den Berg wieder hoch muss. Da wir mit unserem Urlaub Mitte September wohl auch schon außerhab der Saison lagen, hatten viele Restaurants und Läden von montags bis donnerstags geschlossen. Was wir im Ferienhaus allerdings erfolglos gesucht haben, war der in der Anzeige angegebene Wirlpool. Dieser war einer unserer Auswahlkriterien und den gab es leider nicht. Die Küche ist sehr klein, so dass man sich zu Zweit ständig auf den Füßen steht. Aber es war alles sehr sauber und vor allem der angenehme Geruch der Wäsche ist uns sehr positiv aufgefallen. Da wir in Heimbach einfach nur mal 5 Tage entspannen wollten, haben wir mit dem Ferienhaus genau die richtige Wahl getroffen.

Vergnüglicher Kurztrip im Holzhaus
Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen. Das Haus liegt in ruhiger Umgebung und trotzdem ist tagsüber alles zentral erreichbar. Wanderwege, der See oder Gastronomie ist gut erreichbar. Das Haus bietet genug Platz, wir konnten Grillen und uns Entspannen. Wir kommen bestimmt bald Mal wieder.

Uriges Blockhaus mit toller Aussicht
Gemütliches, liebevoll eingerichtetes Blockhaus am Fuße des Meuchelbergs. Es ist alles vorhanden, was man braucht. Die Vermieter waren sehr nett. Ist auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert zum Entspannen.

Sehr schön und ruhig.
Abgesehen vom Wetter war es sehr schön dort. Unterkunft war sauber und gemütlich. Alles da was man braucht. Sehr nette Vermieter. Lebensmittel einkaufen ein paar Minuten mit dem Auto. Super zum runterfahren, schön auf der Terrasse sitzen mit schönem Ausblick. Auch bei Regen kann man zu zweit da sitzen. Würden wir wieder hin fahren.

Gemütliches Osterwochenende mit der Familie
Die Familie Küpper war sehr unkompliziert und sehr nett. Wir hatten die Möglichkeit, schon um 14 Uhr einzuchecken, was uns sehr gelegen kam. Die Einrichtung der Hütte ist sehr gemütlich und das Bad ist modern und funktionell. Die Größe der Dusche ist etwas klein, was für große Personen (wie bei meinen Brüdern) zu kleinen Unannehmlichkeiten führen kann (das ist aber kaum der Rede wert). Über die gut verteilten Heizkörper lässt sich der Wohnbereich zügig wohlig warm werden lassen. Der Garten ist in Richtung des Tals ausgerichtet, weshalb man gerade zum Sonnenauf- und Untergang einen wundervollen Ausblick hat. Die Lage der Hütte ist wundervoll. Mit einem kleinen Spaziergang ist man schnell an der Ruhrtalsperre und der Nationalpark Eifel ist direkt um die Ecke. Im Ort gibt es zudem mehrere Supermärkte, eine Tankstelle und Apotheke, weshalb man sich dort sehr gut selbst versorgen kann. Ich kann die Hütte nur weiterempfehlen!

Gemütliche Unterkunft
Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt im Blockhaus sehr genossen. Gute, ruhige Lage. Man ist sehr schnell in der Natur und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind ebenfalls fußläufig in 15 Minuten zu erreichen.

Great house and lovely start for mountainbiking the Eifel
Had a couple of great days mountainbiking the Eifel. Quiet house full with al you need. Everything is working well and overthought, even the hand soap, toilet paper and dish soap was available. We had a good stay, realy a house we would recommand to anyone who want to visit the Eifel.

Schöner Urlaub in einer hübschen Holzhütte
Das Haus liegt am Hang mit schönem Blick ins Rurtal. Die Vermieter sind sehr nett und drängen sich nicht auf. Das Haus ist oldscool eingerichtet, es ist alles Notwendige vorhanden und die Tatsache, auf der Empore zu schlafen, hatte für uns was Reizvolles. Wenn die Witterung kühl ist, dauert es lange, bis die Wärme ankommt, weil der Raum bis unter das Dach frei ist. Die Umgebung ist gut geeignet zum Wandern. Wir haben die Zeit sehr genossen.

Super gemütliches Haus
Wir haben uns von Anfang an wohlgefühlt. Das Haus ist schön ruhig gelegen und so ausgestattet, dass für einen Kurzurlaub nichts fehlt. Es war sehr sauber und wir konnten sogar etwas früher einchecken. Im Haus selbst ist wirklich viel Platz und jede Menge Stauraum. In der Nähe befinden sich viele Wanderwege und Ausflugsmöglichkeiten, vor allem der Wildpark Schmidt ist sehr empfehlenswert :)

Prima Unterkunft im Luftkurort
Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit viele Wandern Möglichkeiten zu erreichen mit dem Fuss und Auto. Es gibt auch die Möglichkeit ein Fahrrad zu mieten von einem Laden im Heimbach, 5 Minuten Fahrt/25 Minuten Spaziergang entfernt. Hoch empfehlt!

Holzhaus in der Eifel
Empfang: sehr flexibel und human. Aufenthalt: sehr angenehm. Unterbringung: orginal, flexibel und sehr herzlich. Mülltrennung: es wäre praktisch eine Anleitung zu haben. Von Ort zu Ort wird die Mülltrennung anders gehandhabt (in Deutschland und ausserhalb). Wir sind schon ans kompostieren gewöhnt.
