I did not even stayed there. We had to cancel as the rooms has an intense humid and musty smell that made my wife sick. We had to go else where and neither expedia or Days in refunded our money. They charged us for a full two day stay even though we didn’t even check in. Horrible experience and horrible service from both companies. Never again

The room was up to date and clean. AC unit worked great and bed was comfy. Hotel is very convenient to everything in Helen, but far enough away to limit foot traffic and noise. The exterior pool was is disrepair and full of green water, so that was the biggest detractor from our stay.

Rooms are being updated with new furniture, lobby has been refurbished. The only complaint I have is no coffee pot in the rooms. You have to go to the lobby for hot water or coffee.

Worst experience ever. The front desk guy didn’t seem to be in the mood to check us in. The property is in awful condition; all areas were very dirty, and the pool had green water. We found a roach in the room, and the floor was sticky. Options for the free breakfast were limited.

Temperatures were in the 80’s so we brought our swimming suits. The website said they had a pool and hot tub. We walked around the property and the tiny pool was not only closed, it was a mucky green color. Very disappointed.

The property is ok. The staff is friendly. I booked and paid in advance for the king bed room, with a large fridge and the unit is clean and it smelled good. Clean cheets and towels. When choosing what room to pay for, I chose the room with a larger fridge, when we got there at that hotel they put us in a room with a smaller mini fridge and with poor water pressure. The water at our room was so low it took us time to take a shower. We reported it to the front desk and said they will notify their maintenance. There is no washer and dryer in that facility. There is however an ice machine. This hotel is not walking distance to Downtown of Helen, you basically have to drive to a little bit to go shopping or eat somewhere. If you have an electric bike or scooter with you that will help alot. Its too far to just walk it.
