This hotel was fine for the price. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. There were few amenities, only a very small pool. There was no coffee pot in the room, and not enough tables or chairs in the breakfast area. The breakfast area was very small and the breakfast was unremarkable. The staff was excellent and the coffee was very fresh and good.

It’s okay
The bed was comfy and the room was clean. That being said, half the outlets and lights in the room didn’t work, and starting at 6 am it’s non-stop doors slamming by the cleaning staff and other guests. We could see light coming into the bathroom from underneath the bathtub. Not sure to what to make of that. The front desk staff were nice and we helpful.

Good location
Was satisfied with the reservation. Hotel was very close to Helen and I was able to get a peaceful nights sleep. No elevator so we had to use the stairs

For the prices it was pitiful, no food for the provided breakfast other than 1 over crowded waffle maker. Hot water at sinks and shower was well over scalding temps. Finishes on ceiling was falling down. Very low scale experience for a wedding party.

The property was easy to get to. room was decently kept, but bedding wasn’t clean, and the floors made our feet almost black after five minutes in the room. We chose to wear shoes the rest of the stay while in the room, and got rid of the dirty linens and slept on what was clean. Front desk receptionist was super nice and easy checkin process.

Decent place for the price. Looks updated and modern. It was quiet during our visit and is close to everything in Helen. Our room had a very spacious fridge which is great for those who plan to stay more than one night. I would stay again.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Could use some updates, but the room was clean and a 30 minute nice walk to town.

This was a good cheap room. It was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was the mattress was still wrapped in plastic. This made for a really hot bed to sleep in. The staff gave us extra blankets which helped create a better barrier and made it more comfortable.

First of all, I stayed in Room 112. I had a hard time getting in the door. At first, I thought it was locked from the inside but after a few attempts, I had to kick it open. I didn't mention it to the staff since I learned the trick to open the door. The coffee and cinnamon buns and pastries were good and substantial enough to get me through til lunch. I also didn't really like the staff smoking inside the front desk area as I'm allergic to cigarette smoke. The only other issue I had was the dirty floor in my room. I wouldn't have known it was dirty but I like to walk around barefoot sometimes and I noticed my feet were getting dirty. All the issues I had were very minor and far outweighed the nice, neat room I had. I thought the bed was very comfortable and I appreciated the plastic wrapped mattress so I didn't have to worry about any bed bugs. I took my own pillows but the pillows they provided were varied and worked very well. The sheets were clean, crisp and I loved them. There was a small refrigerator and a microwave in the room which I can't remember if those two things were noted in the website description and I was very happy to have them. Overall, I was very happy with my room and the convenient location -- it was five minutes from downtown. I would definitely stay in the same motel the next time I went to Helen. I loved my trip and had a lot of fun, even rode the train down Main Street. I'm 71 and enjoyed the train ride very much!!!
