"The lodge was even better than advertised — spacious rooms, comfortable, well-furnished kitchen, clean, quiet, great location. The gardens are beautifully sculptured on a hill — what a bonus — and are a 10-minute walk from Hidcote Gardens, a wonderful National Trust property. We loved the walks in the Cotswolds and this location was perfect. We drove to Stratford (20 minutes) for a Royal Shakespeare performance of Othello, and the Lodge was accessible by train to/from Oxford, Bath and London. Ron Chambers was a very responsive host. Can’t say enough about this. We’d love to give a rating that is better than 5."

"A well presented house with plenty of space and everything you could want - lots of plates & cups; tvs, games and books etc. House is clean and comfortable with great views out to the back. Easy walking distance to village with choice of pubs and small shops. Highly recommended especially for families with young kids or groups of adults looking for some peace and relaxation"
