Amazing RIVERFRONT Cabin.

You will love this newly custom-built riverfront home in the Smoky Mountains that is centrally located and convenient to Franklin, Highlands, and all Western North Carolina and Tennessee area attractions. 

 Enjoy wading, swimming, fishing for Trout, bring your tube to float down the river, or just sit and relax and let the sound of the river take all of your stress away!  

Enjoy views of the river from the oversized deck where you can sip your morning coffee or host dinner grilling out. Or snuggle up by the fireplace inside while enjoying the views from the wall of windows. Great for a  family gathering around the fire pit or an intimate romantic retreat.

Sleeps up to six with 2 bedrooms on the main level, with ensuite baths and a queen-sized bed in the loft.
There is a very well-equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances. Laundry room, 2 big-screen smart TVs with satellite, high-speed internet, & cell service with both Verizon and AT&T.

The loft with the queen-sized bed also has a game table that can be used for poker or bumper pool.

Easy access just off a state-maintained paved road, and Just a short drive to the many waterfalls, the Appalachian Trail, and many other favorite hiking spots, and just minutes to Downtown Franklin or Highlands, for shopping, or enjoying a craft beer at the many local breweries and resturants. Plus, it's an easy drive to Cherokee, the Blue Ridge Parkway, and the Great Smoky Mountain National Park. There is so much to do that you will not have time to do it all, or just relax here with the peace and quiet in your home away from home.

River Relaxation!
This was the most relaxing vacation my family and I have had in a long time! We enjoyed the feeling of being remote, while enjoying the convenience of restaurants and shops nearby. The peace and quiet was amazing! This home is immaculate - never found not one speck of dust! It has comfortable furniture, top-rate mattresses, fully stocked kitchen, awesome deck to sit and enjoy the sounds of the river and neighborly geese! Also, we met some very nice locals in the shops on Main St. who made our visit all the more enjoyable. It was a great way to celebrate my father's 76th birthday! Thank you for sharing your beautiful home and little slice of heaven on earth.

Outstanding cabin on the river
This place is so nice and relaxing we spent a lot of time there Our third or fourth visit to this house. We really appreciate the owners sharing. It’s close to Franklin and close (as the crow flies) to Highland. Plenty of great restaurants in the area but we like this house so much we just BBQ at the house most nights. It is also close to a couple good grocery stores. Looking forward to another stay soon!

Wonderful cabin
The cabin was wonderful, very clean and looked like new. Very well maintained. True to pictures. We really enjoyed having the river view and access. Even with neighbors across it felt very private. Great area to be in, with lots of hiking trails and waterfalls nearby. Would 100% recommend!

Beautiful, private cabin
We are repeat visitors to this beautiful retreat. The cabin is perfect for family time with a loft that we used playing air hockey and putting two 500 piece puzzles together. We had outside time playing corn hole and sitting around the fire pit. Visited Franklin and Highlands, cooked family meal Saturday evening and enjoyed time together. We love this property!!

Great cabin rental
My family and I had a great time at this cabin. We would highly recommend staying here if you are considering the Franklin area. It is a new, well kept cabin, and located on a peaceful river. Easy drive and fairly close to town.

Best stay at a VRBO
We stayed 26 days. The description of the property was accurate and actually better than described. The cabin had plenty of room and the kitchen was stocked better than any other VRBO rental we have used. Outside of the house, had plenty of room to hang out on the deck, by the river and fire pit. The owners responded very quickly. No complaints at all with the place.

More of a staycation…
We had plans to go o to quite a few different places, but once we got there…things changed. The house as we drove up was so inviting, beautifully landscaped with flowers and even a vegetable garden that we were a little early for unfortunately. The porch wrapped around the side and front, the rush of the water and birds/wild life was all you could hear. We immediately forgot we had neighbors. We walk in, and everywhere we looked there was another reason to feel comfortable and safe and even though I couldn’t make it upstairs (wheelchair/cane), my brother (59) and the boys (11 & 15) enjoyed it immensely. The beds and bedrooms were amazing, great pillows, I forgot mine. The huge master shower accommodated my shower chair easily. The kitchen/dining/den was set in front of these big windows that opened up to the porch facing the river. The porch had a great set of chairs that were used day and night. A few naps were had out there. We grilled both nights. My brother and nephew picked guitar and sang gospel/bluegrass off and on out there day and night. It was a treat hearing them play by the River. The boys fished/swam/rafted/panned for gold/played corn hole…enjoying this time unplugging! We all fished, caught something…a little something haha. But that was the fun part. We ordered in our groceries and just stayed in. This home is worth it, has everything you need and will make you want to stay!

What a wonderful location. Sitting around the firepit listening to the river every morning and evening was just the relaxing vacation we needed. We loved staying at the river house. Communication with the Sheila and David was great. Can’t wait to go back!!

Perfect location for a getaway
This place is absolutely beautiful! It is a perfect spot for families with young kids and teenagers. The Cullasaja river runs right in the back yard so you can spend the entire day playing in the river. We fished while the kids floated on tubes for hours. Highlands is a short drive away and has plenty of shopping and hiking trails. We visited Sunset Rock and Dry Falls, both were amazing! The cabin itself is perfect for a family. The master has a large walk-in closet and a large shower. The loft has a pool/air hockey table and a card table. We spent most of our time playing in the river, cooking & playing cards. We had the best time and will definitely book again.
