Easy and friendly budget hotel
As a budget stay, everything was fine. No bells and whistles, but no red flags either. We arrived very late and clearly woke the overnight staff to check in, but they were professional, friendly and helpful. Fine stay for what we needed (something cheap and on our path of travel)

It has laundry listed on amenities. They do not have laundry. You have to go tothe gas station across the parking lot and most of the machine do not work. Breakfast is lame.

This was 3rd one we stayed at and cost a lot more being sat. Wi if didn’t work , ice was on 1 st floor. We were on 3rd . Heated pool was to cool hot tub was full of foam , felt like bubble bath . Breakfast was not good at all . Waffles were frozen no waffle maker like others. Toaster broken, juice machine broken and they had to get someone to make more coffee. Not good over all.

On the Mickelson Trail
I was riding the Mickelson Trail and stayed here for a couple nights as hub. It was perfect place to stay, get some sleep and shower.

Great place to stay, pool and hot hub very clean also and so quiet. Friendly staff. Only one thing. The windows could use a good washing. Otherwise rates very good on my scale. Breakfast area great and very clean and tidy too.

Property is in need of updates, but overall it was acceptable. Some updates have been done, such as bedding, but carpet for example appears to be from the 80s or 90s and very dirty. The staff was attentive and does seem to care about your experience despite the conditions of the property which the staff can do nothing about. It's a very good location in Hill City. Walkable to the main strip. Parking lot was always full, but there was street parking about a block away. The breakfast is frosted flakes, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, toast. You will probably want to plan on supplementing that if you are there several days. Overall it was an ok place to sleep and shower.
