The rooms are clean! I love the big containers of ice water with the oranges and lemons. The area was quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the smokers stand right outside the front entrance which means we have to walk through it.

The front desk staff were helpful and friendly. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast area was well stocked and clean and the hostess was very kind and worked hard to make sure everything was just right. Great stay!

Came here to ride the bike path along New River. The hotel staff was friendly, the breakfast included all the usual options. The gym felt really small and the pool seemed to not have proper ventilation. The room had the usual conveniences.

Property was nice and well maintained, friendly staff and nice breakfast. Noise from loud mufflers went on until midnight and room 406 has had a smoker there - strong odor remained. A/C is very loud.

Don’t stay here if you have pets. I was told I wasn’t welcome to partake in the continental breakfast due to having a dog and could I not just leave my dog under a table by herself.

We were greeted by a staff member writing inspirational quotes on bananas... so make sure each person started their day off on a positive note!! What ?!??! THAT IS AMAZING!!!!! I also loved they had fresh fruit when you got off the elevator, in case you need a little snack. REALLY great service. Galax is a sleepy little town... but would come back JUST for this hospitality / service again!!
