This hotel is absolutely awful I have no idea why Hilton wants to add their name to this disgusting property. I think Paris should tour this property im sure she would be thoroughly disgusted. Its old dirty definitely not a 4 star as they represent I would barely give it 2 stars. Stay away!

They lost my ID during check in. I immediately bring that to their attention during check in. After an hour of meal and self searching, I have to ask them to review the security footage in order to get their attention high enough to retrieve it. And I didn’t even hear a single word of apology when I get my ID back.

Reasonable stay.
We arrived a little early for check in, our room wasn't ready (which to be fair we knew this may be the case). By the time it WAS ready it was almost an hr past check in time. Upon getting to the room, we got hot in tbe face with what can only be described at horrific body odor of persons morally opposed to bathing (perhaps this was the check in delay?). Once the room aired out it was pleasant and was the beautiful ocean view we requested. The room did have small cockroaches that seemed to go wild at night. The staff addressed this as soon as we reported it. Long black hairs on tbe bathroom floor and on the pillow cases that are not mine (im blonde) was a little unnerving. On site restaurant was good and staff were accommodating. Free daily drinks is a nice touch (2 from the bar daily, from a specific menu, and a coffee water and juice station available as oftern as you'd like in the lobby) and cookies on arrival was appreciated. Valet parking only at $25 a day, unless you're lucky enough to find street parking which we were. Overall a pleasant trip with great staff, but the cleanliness of the room left a little to be desired.

Almost like staying at a motel 6
For an establishment, charging premium prices, you’d expect some level of upkeep. But no, it seems to have taken vintage to a new level of neglect. The rooms are outdated to say the least. Old carpets, and furniture that looks like it’s been scavenge from a yard sale complete with stains. The only good thing I can say is the front desk staff was friendly.

Bed bugs first night in upgraded room
Not impressed. Have spent years of travel to foreign countries and never experienced bed-bugs in my life. Welcome to Hilo Hilton bed-bug hotel. Staff was great and gracious and accommodating but the hotel needs serious upgrade and renovation. Hopefully as a Hilton Honors Member they will read this review and take it to heart. Aloha

Run down hotel. Very sad to see them charge so high when the bathroom door doesn’t close good, shower fixtures leak, drains are clogged at the sink and shower and they now charge $25 to valet your vehicle each day or you have to park across the street, plus a daily $46 resort fee while your paying roughly $200 - $300 a night for a room. Not worth it. The room feels very outdated & dirty.

The hotel had a great view from anywhere on the property. Think they should consider to bring back the shrimp cocktail. Just so you know, it is valet parking only or you need to park your car on the road.
