Our condo is a vacationer's delight - a great place to kick back and enjoy the pool, beaches, tennis, pickle-ball, racquetball courts and Low Country charm.

About our condo:
Located on the first floor, it is one of the closest to the beach which is just a quick walk away. (NOTE: there are no elevators at Fiddler's Cove so you don't have to deal with large flights of stairs and heavy luggage, groceries, etc.) It is a light, bright and airy unit with a private patio.
Recently renovated, our unit contains all the comforts of home - including a sleeper sofa, 2 full bathrooms, dining table that seats up to six, queen bed, 2 twin beds, 50" & 32" flat screen smart TVs, (both have complimentary cable, and WIFI is included). Also included is a full size washer/dryer and fully equipped kitchen with small appliances right down to the pots, pans and vegetable peeler. All mattresses are protected with high quality zippered, breathable, impenetrable covers for your comfort, hygiene and peace of mind.
Bed linens, towels and blankets are provided as well as a starter supply of basic amenities.

Relax outdoors on our private patio with seating for 4. Cook up some dinner on the outdoor grill located just outside.
Our unit is immaculately clean and tastefully decorated. For additional fun, beach chairs, boogie boards and beach toys are provided. Just about everything except the food, beach towels and sand! :)

About Fiddler's Cove Beach and Tennis Resort:
Fiddler's Cove is a gated 23 acre resort with 24 hour security centrally located just minutes from everything on the Island. A short walk across the street and down the block and you're at beautiful Folly Field Beach, one of Hilton Head's several public beaches that run along 12 miles of pristine white sandy oceanfront. There are no busy streets to cross and you are just 200 yards from the water's edge.
For those who wish to stay poolside, Fiddler's Cove offers 2 large heated/cooled pools and a heated jacuzzi. The nearest pool is just steps away next to the guard house outside of our building.
For the athletic, enjoy Har-Tru tennis and pickle-ball courts and racquetball courts. There are playgrounds and a game room in the Clubhouse for the kids. All of these are free during your stay. Fiddler's Cove is located on the Island's 32 mile bike trail. Inexpensive, convenient bike rentals are just a phone call away. For your convenience, the Island Trolley stop is just steps away.

About Hilton Head Island:
The Island is a golfer's paradise with courses designed to challenge every level of play. Golfers will find more than 20 picturesque courses both on and just off the Island.
Deep-sea and freshwater fishing charter boats are available at many of the local marinas. Jet skiing, sailing, para sailing, paddle boarding, snorkeling, kayaking and surf and pier fishing are some other water related activities to enjoy. Hiking horseback riding, beach combing, tours, wineries... There's just too many activities to list! No trip is complete until you climb to the top of the Harbour Town Lighthouse.
Y'all come on down... kick off your shoes, put on your flip flops and have fun!

(Please note: Fiddler's Cove Resort policy does not allow pets and this is a non -smoking unit. There are several quality pet hotels on the Island. Motorcycles, boats or trailers are not allowed at Fiddler's Cove.

Great location/hard communication
Before the trip, there was a lot of communication between the property manager and myself. He repeatedly asked for the same info I had already provided. He then called me and when I called him back, he did not answer. We finally got everything settled but he seemed more hung up on how many people were with us(only 5 per the rules) and us not smoking(we do not smoke so this was not an issue). The condo was a little dirty and there was no broom to even sweep up sand from our three kids. There was a lot of dust on the tv console and in the vents and exhaust fans. The twin beds had stains on the comforters. There was also dust and hair on the headboards and bedside tables. It is in a GREAT location. We have come to Hilton head every year for 10 years and always stay somewhere new to get a different experience. We loved how close it was to the beach and the pool. Being on the first floor was also a perk(except for the loud people above us). It was nice to have boogie boards for the kids. We could not get the tv in the living room to work which would have been fine if we didn’t have two young kids who needed to wind down at the end of the day. I tried contacting the property manager but never heard back from him. Overall the property manager made it feel like there were more rules for us to follow than for us to be able to enjoy vacation with our kids. We would love to stay at fiddlers cove again but not this condo.

Fiddlers Cove- The Johnsons Condo
Great location, close enough to everything and right down the street from the beach. The Johnsons were very easy to work with and always readily available to talk. The community was clean and well managed, we had zero issues with the room and everything was as advertised. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay, my family hope to make it an annual trip!

A wonderful stay!
Loved its location close to the beach and to the free trolley, which we used every day to go to restaurants and to tour other parts of the island. We didn't have a car and didn't need one because of this wonderful service. The condo was very well furnished and super clean. Our only problem was that the owner never got back to us after 4 calls to provide us with additional garbage bags. He was more responsive before our arrival than once we got there.

This property was very clean and delightful! The host was responsive and the condo was perfect. Very nice and cozy in its decoration. Very convenient to the beach and bike baths we could use. It felt like the Closest unit in Fiddler’s cove to the ocean! Keyless entry was also amazing and convenient!

You DO NOT want to stay at this property!
This property is absolutely filthy. Dirt hanging from light fixtures, woodwork, walls. SHRIMP TAILS on rug in sitting room. Chips on every floor. Dirt in corners. Black hair in tub, on floor and in drawers. Ran out of hot water if 2 showers being taken. Ice maker broken. Light bulbs burned out. Property is neglected, old and dirty. Property is very noisy. Upstairs tenants moving furniture, walking and loud on the balcony. Unit is old and poorly constructed allowing noise and commotion. Private beach that was advertised on VRBO and within walking distance was closed for construction. This WAS NOT DISCLOSED by the unit owner. This was the closest beach and it was under construction by the city of Hilton Head Island. We had to drive to another beach that was not as nice and the driving was inconvenient. Because of the condition of this property, we shortened our 14-day vacation by 5 days and left early.

Clean! Short walk to the beach.
My wife and I stayed here a few nights after a week with the family to decompress! We both were impressed with the cleanliness of the condo and property. The pool and decking were clean and inviting. As advertised, the beach was a short 8 minute walk (I timed it!). Nice barbecue spot next to each building with a gas and a charcoal grill. I used the gas grill and was amazed how clean even that was. Communication was excellent. I did leave one day early due to the hurricane (stayed 8/26/23-8/30/23) but no problem. Condo perfect for a couple or small family. Excellent restaurants include Skull Creek Boathouse, Black Marlin Bayside Grill, The Crazy Crab. Groceries-Hit The Fresh Market for seafood, steaks, bakery, etc. Enjoyed our stay!

Walkway to the Beach
Nicely decorated and awesome location near beach (Bldg 1)..Walk was abt 10min and there is a wash station, bathrooms and matted walkway to the beach. Excellent for taking a beach wagon etc. Owners very nice and communicated well. We suggested adding a few more pics to website. Fairly well cleaned.

I stayed in Building one this trip and loved its location to the beach. I walk 5 miles every morning for the sunrise. This location was great to get to the beach fast. The amenities in the condo were excellent. I will be back in September.
