Amazing house!!!!
It is exactly as listed.... A cute tiny home that has it all. Easy check in and sleeps 4 just fine with the pull out couch. The dock is perfect for coffee and dinner... A short drive to Savannah for other activities, but a fraction of the cost.

Peaceful getaway
My husband and I had a fantastic trip. The house is just as described in the listing. It is a small home with a lots of charm. We found it to be very clean upon our arrival. The owner provided breakfast items for us, which was very nice. We did spend time in the afternoons on the dock which was relaxing and peaceful. We saw an alligator floating down the river one afternoon and could hear owls at night. This home is in an excellent location to make trips to Hilton Head one day and to Savannah the next. The owner was easy to communicate with. I would recommend this property.

Great jumping off point to see all the area sights yet come back at the end of the day to relax. Beautiful, serene & perfect spot to be with our dog. Want to come back when the weather is warmer to enjoy more of the property itself.

Great fishing and beautiful views
We were very happy with the cozy cottage. The landscape was beautiful. You can tell the owners take pride in their rental. The kitchen was stocked and supplied everything you need for a successful stay. We really enjoyed ourselves.

We loved it! So beautiful and peaceful!
The host was kind, easy to communicate with, and clearly thought of a lot of details to make us and our fur baby comfortable during our stay. Upon arrival the home smelled and was very clean. Our 1st day, it rained a lot. We really enjoyed the screened in porch so we could still be outdoors and enjoy the beautiful view. What a peaceful place to read a good book! The 2nd day we had great weather and really enjoyed use of the dock. Fishing was a blast! The 3rd day was check out and we were already discussing when we could plan another trip back. We'd love to visit again! No complaints, just a few things we noted. There is no oven. Our fault for not noticing in the photos but something to note if you plan to bring food to cook like we did. Without it, maybe a toaster oven would be a good addition to the kitchen. We knew about the ladder to the loft and didnt mind it. Just noticed that it is quite difficult to carry anything you may need up or down. We thought how cute a little basket pully system would be for little things like that. Or, and it may have already been ruled out, but how cute a little spiral staircase would look. To those looking at this review considering a trip, book it! You wont regret it! And to the host, thank you so much for everything! We hope to come back soon!

Ladder too steep for seniors. Shower water adjustment almost impossible to equalize. Sofa impossible to sleep on because of metal frame. Couldn’t catch fish.

Perfect Getaway
My boyfriend and I had such a wonderful time at this property. The cottage is exactly as described and is a unique little place. Saw a lot of wildlife including owls and alligators (and deer tracks on the property but didn’t see the deer unfortunately). Wish we would have brought our fishing poles; lots of fish jumping in the river! Also, very pet friendly which was really nice since we decided to bring our cat with us (she loved the property too!). Easy drive to Savannah and Hilton Head which was also nice.

Quiet getaway
Very peaceful area. Loved sitting on the dock by the river. Falling asleep to the sounds of nature was perfect. Cute and cozy accommodations. Had everything we needed. Close to Savannah. Very easy to find and check in. Great experience.

What a magical place to stay!
We had a wonderful time at this cottage and absolutely loved the location being right on the water. It was clean, cozy, and had a very magical feel with being in the woods and able to listen to the river. We also really appreciated that it was dog-friendly!

Very nice and quiet location...
Really enjoyed our stay, including our small dog. Nice location and 20 to 30 minutes from Savannah and local town. It rained one day so we visited Air Force Museum which we highly recommend. Host provided everything you need for your stay plus extras. Firepit and grill were used and they even stocked the fridge with essentials and provided snacks. The only negative was to get to the loft where king sized bed was located you literally need to climb a 8 foot ladder - not the best situation for those of us that have to use the bathroom in the middle of the night...

It’s a cute place but not good for older people. Space is really small. Pictures on lane made me think there was a bedroom. But it was a couch that was very uncomfortable and the loft that you have to climb a ladder and you can’t stand up in. I think you should say it’s not for handicapped people. The refrigerator ran so loud it would wake us up. The heat would not come on for us and we were freezing with the cold spell that came in. On the up side the view is beautiful and we liked sitting on the deck near the water.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage! It was perfect for two of us and our dog. The fenced yard and dog extras (bowl, lead and other things) were so welcome! The owners have thought of so many extras you don’t find in other rentals! Great communication, highly recommend and we would love to return in the future!!

Perfect getaway
My wife and I booked here for our wedding anniversary and the cottage was exactly as described! It had everything we needed and the host was accurate in his description of the place. We have a 5 month old puppy who had a joy running around in the spacious yard. The dock provided a beautiful morning view of the sunset and it was just so peaceful and quiet. The drive to Savannah was only 25 minutes from this cottage so it was very convenient if you're not looking to pay for some of the overpriced Savannah hotels or bed and breakfasts. We will absolutely be staying here again in the future.

Awesome stay
We will really enjoyed our stay with two dogs! There was ample room for the dogs to roam and the cottage was very pet friendly with water bowls and treats! We also like the breakfast that was provided. We loved the seclusion and quiet. Special touches like bug spray and basic spices along with linens and paper products allowed us to have what we needed. The fenced in yard was great too!

Most amazing getaway
We stood at this gorgeous cottage for 4 days and 3 nights in the perfect time. We needed a real family time (just us) we did so many things together, we used the grill, the fire pit, we play volleyball, we spent all mornings and afternoons starting at the most beautiful view at the river. Oh my!! How much coffee my husband and I had, lol! We spent hours talking and listening just to nature. The cottage was so cute just perfect for the four of us. My little girls loved it, they used to be afraid of bugs, and animals but not anymore. The place had everything we needed and the store was 5 minutes away. We only went to the beach once just for the girls, but we came back right away. Every dollar was so worthy. Oh f my husband wouldn’t mine driving 5 horas again, we will definitely come back next year. Thank you Michael for sharing your beautiful property to us and thank you for answering right away when I needed it

Perfect getaway for two
This cabin was very cozy. Perfect for a romantic weekend away from it all. It is truly right on the Savannah River with two great decks to relax on and fish if you like to. It’s beautiful here. It’s very quiet and secluded. The cabin is very clean and also very pet friendly. We will definitely come again.

Absolutely beautiful
This property was beautiful. Small house was perfect. Micheal was so helpful with all my questions. He got back to us very quickly. We brought our dog and he loved being out on the deck laying around. Plenty of room for the dog to run around. The deck out by the water is a wonderful place to sit and have a drink and just listen to the water. The house had so many thoughtful items. The snacks, the wine it was all so nice. We would stay here again if ever in the area again. Such a wonderful place. Thank you for sharing it with us!
