Really enjoy staying at The Beach House. It’s my 3rd time staying there and it’s very close to shopping and dining. Also the beach is really nice. The Tiki hut bar is fun and has daily entertainment. I would recommend

A VERY old property that has been POORLY renovate! Toilets at the beach level are old and dirty. Staff totally incompetent and bar prices to the roof. Breakfast buffet was ludicrous: NO coffee, NO OJ, NO croissants... Everything has to be bought!!!

Trying to do too much at one time.
It is clear they are not finished remodeling and there are work men walking around drilling and pounding nails in the wall. We felt like we were in a construction zone and can’t say that the trip was relaxing. Not enough seating at the pool and parking was a nightmare. Cars were parked behind other cars. The prices of mixed drinks were from $12.00-$16.00 per drink. The drink tickets they give you can only be used at the Porch Restaurant and not the Tiki Bar. The Tiki Bar personnel refused to take the ticket even though the front desk said it could be used there. There is a lot more organization and communication that needs to take place between all parts of the resort. It is not worth the money we paid. I complained and staff was friendly and willing to give us some compensation for the trouble we went threw.

I take my kids on an annual trip to HHI and have been intentional about trying out different properties. The location for this hotel is incredible. So much to do within walking distance! The staff were friendly and helpful but there were some major downsides: 1. Very limited parking 2. No washer or dryer on site. 3. Walls are VERY thin so you can hear the music and feel the bass from the tiki hut while in your room 4. Not the fault of the hotel but the construction noise was rough. 5. Our room was next to the ice machine and we could hear it being used until 1 or 2 am.

The property is newly renovated and it’s beautiful. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Having said that … I believe from the last time I was there in 2021 then changed the flooring in the hallway and rooms to hardwood- which understandably would be easier to clean and maintain but the echoes are very loud- people getting ice from the vending machine all night - I was woken at midnight one o’clock and even two o’clock in the morning. At times conversations along the hallway were very loud and people were generally very noisy. Otherwise the room only lacked in -laundry bags and the ice bucket was a leaky and plastic with no liner. Other than that nice amenities in the room. Food and drinks on the property are delicious but very expensive. The brisket tots and the smash burger were very good at the pool and the French toast for breakfast was tasty . Service was excellent! Would have enjoyed room service but was not an option.

Overall was an excellent experience. The room was great, spacious, and clean. Perfect location near dining, shopping, walking trails. Tiki hut was great. Renting chairs for the beach could've been easier and explained better. Early check-in option for $50 was worth it to give us almost another full day.

This property was exactly what we were looking for to experience a beach front resort on Hilton Head for the first time. Beach access was great and the pool has been recently upgraded. The Beach House was an overall good experience for us.
