The check in was easy, the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel is easy to find and close to both the train station and Himeji Castle. It is new and clean and overall an amazing experience. A caution. The bed is NOT western style. It is hard.

We stayed at the Daiwa Roynet Hotel Himeji for one night as a stopover to see Hemiji castle. The hotel is in a great location - about five mins from the train station and about 10mins from the castle. The area around the hotel was great with shopping and dining options. The staff at the hotel were excellent and we were able to store luggage prior to check-in with no hassles. The room was clean and probably the biggest we’ve had in our two weeks in Japan. The shower was amazing too!! The biggest downside was the bed - it was so hard it was like sleeping on a kitchen table!!

We loved this hotel! We booked 2 rooms next door to each other, great location with hundreds of fantastic restaurants and stores around. Best location! About a 5 minute walk to Himeji station. We had the Himeji castle view, and how beautiful at night when it lights up! We would stay here again.

LOVED staying in this hotel! The room was beautiful and the location in Himeji was great. There were tons of shops and food nearby, and the Himeji castle was in easy walking distance. The staff was very helpful. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in Himeji.
