The house was comfortable. Everything worked. Hosts were helpful with suggestions for places to eat in the nearby towns. In-house instruction booklet was clear and thorough. A nice, unassuming place to relax and enjoy each other.

We were so happy with the house and location. Our trip to the finger lakes had several towns we were going to see and the location of the property was ideal. The owners were a delight to deal with and even left cookies and peach bread for us. The house was clean, had all the essentials and was right near Seneca Lake. Lots of wildlife too.

We had an awesome time!! Location of home was perfect for visiting wineries, enjoying views. Property owners were great with information of some spots to see, plus communication was super. Answered questions and made recommendations. Would definitely rent from them again!! House was spotless, beds we’re comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the 3 season porch. Definitely 5 Stars!!

We totally enjoyed our stay at this home. It was very clean and well maintained. We especially enjoyed the cookies that were left for us by the hostess. It is situated in the heart of the Finger Lakes. We spent every morning in the sun porch enjoying our tea and the view. A deer even visited us one morning. If you are looking for the ideal place, this is it.

This home was very clean upon our arrival. My guests and I were awed by this house from the time we pulled in to the time we left. Jo was very nice and accommodating through out our stay.The home is very private. The sunroom was a joy to hang out in. We only stayed for a short time, but we will be back. 6 stars for this home.

Deck the Halls
We arrived on Friday for the Deck the Halls event. It is always a great time and we are so happy it is back! Booking was super easy as was the communication with Jo. Check in was seamless, the property was exactly as described and super clean. She even messaged me to let me know we could arrive a bit early, which was great! The location is perfect as 2 of my favorite wineries are Miles and Glenora, so we were in close proximity. We also were greeted with the iconic grape pie! I cannot say enough great things about this property and hosts. We will definitely be back!

Wonderful place to stay in Finger Lakes
We stayed in the Finger Lakes last summer on the east side of Seneca Lake with our kids. It was a great vacation that they still talk about. In August, we decided to take a trip to Finger Lakes to see the fall colors with other family members on the west side of Seneca Lake. I found this home in Himrod and it did not disappoint. It was perfectly located on the Seneca Lake West Wine Trail and near the Keuka Lake Wine Trail. The pictures are exactly how the home looked. The owners left us snacks and a grape pie (a first for us and absolutely delicious). We tried to go to the bakery where it was bought, but it was so crowded we could not find a parking space. It was the perfect getaway. Thank you Jo and Tom for sharing your home so that others can make wonderful memories.

This is a quaint three bedroom home setback from the road, surrounded by evergreens. Everything you need is in the house just bring food, drink and fun things to do. The owners even had a bottle of wine waiting for us. The house is well equipped with dinnerware,condiments, pots and pans, spices, tissue paper, soap, everything you need.

The property was situated in a quiet location near Seneca Lake. It was spacious, clean and nicely furnished. The kitchen was well equipped. We particularly enjoyed watching the birds and other wildlife from the large deck. Nearby Sapata restaurant is ideal for special occasion meals. Hosts Jo and Tom werre always available to answer any questions.
