Not up to the standards I have experienced before
An average stay. It took over 5 minuts to find my name at check in. They had to search for my surname then first name apparently! Why a search can't look at both together is beyond me? Hairs from a previous guest in bathroom, so not cleaned properly. And an old and tired room when I know there are much better and more modern rooms in this once outstanding hotel.

Good standard rooms (although lift wasn't working and I had to lug my case up stairs). Pleasant reception staff and very helpful and I was able to check in early which was really appreciated. Had lunch in the bar which wasn't very impressive. Also there were Xmas parties going on and I think I was next door to 4am revellers. Might be a good idea to group party goers together and any single bookings, like myself, in another wing!!! Overall, though, no serious problems and I would stay here again.

Good but housekeeping needs to do better
Room is spacious. Beds are comfortable. However one of the linens has dirty marks on it and when we asked for a change they cannot do that. Housekeeping brought us another clean one and we need to change by ourselves. When open the toilet cover, there was poo inside. Really disgusting. Housekeeping needs to do a better job. Other than the above, the hotel is good.

My recent stay at this hotel at Leonardo Hinckly exceeded all expectations. I booked 4 rooms with 5 kids and 7 adults for Oct half term. From the moment I stepped into the elegant lobby, I was greeted by the most attentive and professional staff. The front desk team, particularly during check-in, demonstrated exceptional hospitality with their warm smiles and efficient service. Special shout out for Annmarie & Lizzie manager!! The housekeeping staff deserves special recognition for maintaining impeccable cleanliness throughout the property. Our room was spotless, with crisp, fresh linens, gleaming surfaces, and meticulously cleaned bathroom fixtures. The attention to detail was remarkable – from the perfectly arranged toiletries to the streak-free mirrors and windows. What truly sets this hotel apart is the staff's genuine commitment to guest satisfaction. Whether it was the concierge providing local recommendations, the room service team's prompt delivery, or the housekeeping staff's thorough daily cleaning service, every interaction was marked by courtesy and professionalism. Beautiful hotel ruined by youths in leisure centre
Hotel immaculate, room superb, staff excellent, pool, gym, sauna over ran by 20ish yr old blokes larking about if your staying for work or night away you couldn’t do better, if your staying because of the above and want a gym, swim and pool you are going to be dissappointed don’t waste your money you literally won’t feel comfortable going in there with the regular members who will do everything to ruin your trip

An absolutely spotlessly clean hotel, well decorated and really is a nice place to stay. The only reason for the three stars was because we were supposed to check in at 1500 and couldn’t actually get in until 1600, staff did give us a complimentary drink for the inconvenience, however we wanted to use the pool but had a reservation for 1700 so we didn’t get to use the facilities as we wanted to. Breakfast was great, plenty of choice we also ate in the triumph bar the food there was great too. We would come again and hopefully we can get checked in and use the facilities a little more
