The property reflects the price paid, which is very low. Bed is hard and not comfortable by Western Standards. Room size is typical for Japanese hotels. Good value if you consider what they charge.

I book this hotel only because I had to catch the train very early the next day. But I had to catch the next train because I couldn’t get the breakfast 15 mins earlier nor to go. If I had known it would be a problem to have the breakfast a bit earlier or cannot take it away, I would have booked a cheaper hotel and further from the station. The reason for not letting me pack the breakfast to go is absurd. Anyone can get food poisoning from just eating packaged meals anywhere. Too inflexible and almost ruined my whole day’s plan.

Clean and courteous!!
Clean, easy check in process. Front desk staff were a great help when I tried to do my laundry, despite the language barrier (seriously thank you so much). Hotel let me keep my bag there all morning before check in so I could explore the city and Hirosaki Castle. Breakfast buffet was good. Love the apple juice 10/10.

Clean and comfortable business hotel. Bento breakfast and coffee. Free parking on site. Convenient location next to Hirosaki train station although a bit of a walk to the historic district/castle. Pajamas provided!

Good value no frills business hotel
A good value, no frills business hotel that's conveniently located next to the train station. I have stayed in a few toyoko inn hotels and they're almost identical in design ,facilities and services. Note that they're very rigid in terms of check in and out time. If that's fine with you they're a very good option .
