We enjoyed our stay here. It exceeded our expectations of Best Westerns! Hotel staff were super friendly and the pool was a nice treat and break from the hot southern sun. The rooms were clean and the air conditioning worked. Loved having a microwave in the room— especially when kids eat off schedule on vacation. Downtown Beaufort was literally a block away. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.

I didn't like the fact that you need to pay to park, which the website does not mention Also the breakfast we could not be there for cause we had to leave early and were told there would be fresh fruits and muffins , but there were only a couple apples and 1 muffin.

Best hotel for access to shopping
This is the best hotel if you want to be right next to downtown shopping in the historic district. You literally walk out of your door and walk a few feet and you are on main street. You also eat breakfast while looking out at the most beautiful view of the park and the water. Just a great hotel for access!

Great stop on the ICW across from Marina
The perfect location for anyone wanting to soak up the scene in Beaufort’s historic downtown. Easy walking distance to dozens of stores, cafes, restaurants and bars. Directly across the street from the City Marina and iconic waterfront park. ICW travelers wanting a night on dry land will be happy here.

As a businessman l appreciate reviews. On a trip in 2019 I stayed here after reading many reviews - they were not wrong! I too gave it a “10” - I take ratings seriously. I have made additional trips to the area but the hotel had no vacancies - not surprisingly. On my trip in June 2024 I was able to make a reservation but had something happen that was not part of normal operations - that’s when you find out if a hotel is really good - how they handle it! I’m happy to say that GM Lisa Kassuba handled it professionally and I will be back again… Randy
