The location & staff were exceptional. While my room was pristine clean the building itself was worn. My room was adjoining another room w a space under the door & those people were smokers which made for smoky conditions 🙁

Makes trucker motels look luxurous.
This "hotel" is a step above a flop house. The carpet was stained, damp and smelly. The matteress leaned and almost tossed me off. The room was next to a garbage bin. It's street level with 2 loose bolts on the door. This hotel obviously has never been updated. The shower was super old with black gunk on the shower floor. If you pay $45 you're paying too much they chrged us $165!! We left within 30 minutes and walked across the street to a real hotel and luckily got a nice room. Am I angry? Yes. But this really is bad, could be good for dudes who don't care and will just go get drunk and crash. But for a nice vacation with the wife and/or family, NO WAY! The pictures are totally fake. The place is a a dingy old crusty place.

Inexpensive way to travel
If you are no frills person you will like this inn Very clean. Nice free breakfast. Friendly staff. We have stayed at Best Western a couple of times. It is within walking distance from the riverfront. Lots of eateries and shops as well as restaurants with live music.

Good value for the price. If you want a convenient no frills place to stay with a buffet breakfast, this is your place. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are basic as is the hotel. Pool is small but a nice place to cool off at the end of a hot day. Close to River Street and easy walks all over Savannah.

The best part of the hotel was the location. It was nice that breakfast was offered but the staff would complain about the amount of people or food they would need to serve especially closer to 9:30AM. The toilet in the room ran very loudly and constantly. The bed was comfortable. You really get what you pay for here.

Our room was very clean, however, our tub with extremely slippery. The only way it could be resolved was having to put a towel down on the tub floor. The staff were very nice and efficient. The housekeeping service was very good. Some nights it was very noisy due to either other guests being noisy or because we were on Bay Street which was high volume traffic. The outside of the building could use an overhaul renovation. The steps and bannisters were filthy. I am giving this a Good. This is a good hotel. They can do better, Loved Savannah and location of the hotel.

I booked this hotel to spend a few hours to rest and eat breakfast before driving to my final destination. The front desk attendant was very welcoming and nice. The room smelled musty. The rug had large stains and smelled. I didn’t feel safe in the room and did not get to rest well. In The morning we were greeted once again by the nice guy in the front desk. We wanted coffee but the machine was broken, we decided to leave and purchase our coffee and breakfast somewhere else. The staff apologized as they couldn’t fix the issue. I was definitely overcharged for this motel.

When we checked in at 11pm (family of four with 2 kids), we had only 2 towels in our room, no shampoo, soap, shower gel. Had to go back to the reception at midnight - and the supervisor was not available. The only person who helped me was a secuirity employee - he was walking around wearing a bulletproof vest and had no ideas where towels were, but figured it our and eventually helped.

Hotel needs repair. The pics make this look way more desirable than it is. Room is small. Floors had a stain. Paint peeling on walls. Tv did not have a signal half the night. The door lock stopped working for my key. The staff were very kind and tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible. The bed was comfortable.
