Great location and polite staff. Room windows could do with some maintenance as our room window on level 19 could not be closed properly but OK for 1 nights stay. However also am not sure why it could open as is a safety hazard.

Very spacious, clean, quiet room with a spectacular view of the harbor. The staff was especially welcoming and friendly. The breakfast offerings were many and delicious. The pool was a positive addition to the hotel stay. I am returning to Hobart and staying here again.

Central location on waterfront in historic area. Great views. Walking distance to museums & markets. Very comfortable rooms & open airy lobby with excellent staff. Drinks & bar menu at Atrium bar good. Also plenty of space to wait for onward transport after checking out.

Great central position on the waterfront. Good for walking to local areas of interest & well appointed rooms. Reception staff delightful. Lobby bar& staff pleasant. What let them down on this occasion was the Tasman restaurant. The meal was below expectations. Crispy skin Salmon served with a big chunk of onion which presumably was meant to be caramelised & cauliflower. Disappointing. Sweet potato gnocchi better.

Great location and brand new hotel. Parking a car is not on-site which is a bit of a bummer but nice walkability and easy Hwy access. Very friendly and helpful staff.

Hobart Grand Chancellor hotel

The hotel was in a prime location across from Hobart marina. The public rooms were tastefully decorated in a modern style and well lit. The hotel staff were always attentivecand helpful particularly in the restaurant and bar area. We really enjoyed our stay here.

Lovely huge comfy bed; delicious breakfast and huge choice with omelets and freshly squeezed fruit juices. We ate dinner in the restaurant as was delicious, but also a great eatery choice immediately outside the hotel from moored boats in harbour for alfresco dining! We paid for valet parking, AUD40 per day (AUD20 for self park), but we felt worth it. Generous tea/coffee selection in bedroom and large fridge too.
