I loved the little touches Erin had in the room. Wall mounted, good soap etc in shower. Wall mounted USB outlets, fast free WiFi, very comfy bed, room heated quickly. A pleasant surprise was waking up to the sound of a baa-ing sheep outside. Breakfast was a homemade feast! (Esp smoked lamb!). Rock collections were fascinating. Also, we didn’t arrive until 10:00 pm and she was still pleasant. We look forward to returning!!

Everything in this guest house is above and beyond what I expect. From the hand drawn painting in the cabin to the outstanding breakfast hand made by the family running the business, this is by far the best icelandic lodging experience I had. Thank you Eyrin and family for the hospitality. Hope to see you again.

In a nice remote area outside Hofn. Accommodations were excellent and the view was relaxing and amazing. Was here in summer but this place must even be more beautiful during winter- great place to see the northern lights. You do need to drive several km to get to town for dinner ( or best to get dinner before checking in) but if you want to relax and be within the the beautiful landscape of the East fjords, this is the place for you. The breakfast included consists of both homemade and store bought goodies. It was a wonderful overnight stay during our 2 week trek around Iceland Felt the warmth and the hospitality of our host.

Lovely guesthouse in quiet, scenic region. Peaceful and felt remote, but not too far from excellent restaurant in Hofn. The room was comfortable and beautifully decorated. The breakfast was highlight - local and homemade products and got to try a few things we hadn't. The owners were very warm and welcoming. Wish we had stayed longer.

A cozy oasis with breathtaking views, this property is owned by a warm and welcoming family with attention to detail. Extremely comfortable individual rooms with a mostly homemade, authentic Icelandic breakfast in the morning!

SPECTACULAR STAY!! A-MAZING SERVICE!
One of our best stays in Iceland. Super clean and comfortable property! Eidrum (the owner) Made our stay just perfect! Steyndor (her son) was the cherry on the pie! Both were so courteous and kind! The property is located just off Hofn and has a perfect, open setting for watching Auroras (if you’re lucky!). I highly (highly!) recommend this property for your stay in Southeast Iceland.

This property has the wow factor! It is absolutely amazing and should be not missed if you’re in Iceland. The property owner was incredibly kind, accommodating, and very helpful. You will be very sorry if you miss out on staying here. I will give it five stars and then some.

The owners were amazing and friendly. Our little cabin was super clean. Breakfasts were delicious. Would definitely have loved a television in our cabin, would have been nice to relax with a movie after a long day of sightseeing.

The Inn Keepers of this property are amazing! They are personable and keep their guest houses clean; their breakfast spread is a nice cultural experience; and they took the time to explain Road.IS and how the app works in an effort to protect our safety. I highly recommend this property!

Absolute favorite stay of the trip! Loved the location and the room concept! Room was clean and cozy. Great place for northern lights! Hosts were so nice! Great breakfast- skyr prepared with the owner's mother's recipe, local smoked salmon, local lamb, homemade jams and hummus- Delicious! I wish I could have more of it!

We absolutely loved this property! The isolated cabins with the privacy wall around the entrance was appreciated. While we stayed, we were lucky enough to see the northern lights. Staff took the time to come around and knock on our doors to let us know! Although we already we outside when she came around, we’d set up our camera and we looking in the wrong direction. Really appreciate her coming around to make sure we saw it if we wanted to. Breakfast was included and was a great way to start the day. Clubhouse stays open late if you’d like a hot drink before bed. Staff were nothing but friendly and helpful.

Good stay. Staff was very nice. We wish there was electric kettle in the room to make tea at night. Coffee machine at the dining area was a bit far to walk at night in the cold and rain. BF was good.
