There were several big things that went wrong. First, the unit wasn't ready on time. He did finally let us in at 5:30, but the towels were still in the dryer from cleaning (we hope- read the rest!), so it wasn't completely ready.
The air conditioner didn't cool. We recognized this within a couple of hours and he assured us the company had been contacted. 24 hours later, when we questioned him again he admitted it would be July before they came to look. Inside stayed between 75 and 80 degrees the whole time we were there. It was uncomfortable.
There was major construction being done to the building while we were there. There were workers in scaffolding right outside the windows several times and the noise was very loud during the day. If you're wanting to rest during the day- you won't be able to here. We were not informed about the construction.
The washing machine was broken and again we weren't informed. He tried to have a new washing machine delivered while we were there. We had to insist several times that we were NOT willing to let in a delivery person while we weren't present before he would cancel the already scheduled, without our knowledge, delivery for our second night.
This unit is VERY over priced for the number of issues that it had. The owner's responses were, at best dismissive, when we brought these issues to his attention.
