This is billed as a no smoking hotel, Well we had to change rooms because our first 4 smelled so bad. The plumbing is NOT good for anyone over 60, No grab bars on tub/shower. The carpet was suspect. There was NO Security. The front door, was proped open all night. The front desk was often not staffed We had an issue with the key card. It only worked once, then we had to have a new one made, as the first one no longer worked.

This is non smoking. Most of the rooms stink of past smokers. The bathroom tub or showers do not have grab bars. Hard to enter or exit the tin. Soap/ shampoo is so small only one person can use them.

Couldn't beat the price, but with that comes why it is priced this way. I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt considering we were told at check in that they were going to remodel and there was trailers on the property that I have seen at other establishments when remodeling is taking place. I re considered when two couples with children were parked next to us and discovered a needle in the landscaping. I know these situations cannot be controlled, but it is the responsibility of the Hotel to check landscaping for trash and other things such as needles. I couldn't let it go. I worked in the restaurant industry and I do understand that in public establishment you cannot also control every situation. other than the coffee being awful I have no other complaints.

It was adequate and okay for the price point. The tub didn’t drain very well so ankle depth water during shower. Sheets were clean, but full layer of dust on top and back of tv, on top of lamps, headboard, and all pictures. Carpet behind tv stand never say a vacuum. Check in receptionist was unapologetically rude. The pool area and hot tub were nice. Outdoor area was cute and nice but could use some attention with cleaning maintenance. Outdoor cushions desperately need replaced. Breakfast for entire hotel was only 1 hour long from 8-9. Like I said it was adequate for $100/night and pleasant enough, but room felt kind of dirty overall and I do not plan to stay here again. I wished that I had payed a bit more and stayed at the Holiday Inn Express where I have stayed before and had fabulous experience.

Stayed here for a championship swim meet weekend. Started off with there being a pile of dirty towels in the closet and half a roll of toilet paper in the bathroom for 3 of us. Went down the first morning at 8:15 for breakfast and there was almost nothing left. Everything in this hotel is old and run down. Prices were jacked up do to an event in town. The room next to us smoked weed all night and when I complained to the front desk they didn't seem to care much. The only positive is that the front desk people were polite and friendly. I would not stay here again.

The room was clean and offered expected amenities. The staff were nice and helpful with all our needs. It is worth noting that check in took a lot longer than I expected. Also we did have to ask for both towels and toilet paper as there were none in our room. The included breakfast was pretty disappointing and only offered for a short time. We stayed two days and didn’t even attempt to go to breakfast the second day. While my rate as very affordable and I enjoyed my stay over all there wasn’t anything amazing about the hotel either.

Cheaper Travel Ball Hotel

This was significantly cheaper than the Marriott that the rest of the team was staying at. They offered breakfast every morning from 6-9 that was eggs, sausage, biscuits & gravy, waffles, yogurt, fruit, cereal, bagels etc.. a normal hotel breakfast. They have a working swimming pool & hot tub open til 11p for kids then 11p-12a was for adults only. The outside of this place had me reconsidering what I was doing trying to find a cheaper place.. I’m not sure why.. it just gave me that feel. The inside was very nice. No smell or mustiness. The air conditioner worked. The TV worked. I did have to get my cards fixed for the room. I laid them against my phone and it deactivated them. So watch that! The front desk lady was super nice & helpful.

Very disappointed!

We stayed 5 days and the breakfast each day kept running out of stuff the selection was minimal no fruit at all, if they ran out of food 20 minutes before the breakfast ended they wouldn’t make more!! No ice machine was working, we were on the 3rd floor I took the steps each day there was a french fry on them the first day and it was still there when we left! I don’t think they vacuumed at all! The bottom step in the pool was broke could be hazardous for little kids!!

I am not one to write reviews whether I had a good or bad experience but my visit at this hotel needs to be heard. Our key cards did not work half the time. One night I had to walk to the front desk 4 times because we could not get in our room. Staff at the front kept saying our phones were deactivating the cards or the card themselves were deactivating each other, never heard that before. Another night, the man at the front told me the door battery is dying but he doesn’t know where the tool is to fix it. Oh okay, that’s cool. One light in the bathroom was not working. We did not have hand towels, tissues or toiletries. The carpet felt disgusting barefoot. The paint on the walls were chipped. There were nails sticking out of the walls. The ice machine was not working. We had a handicap room and every time we showered, the bathroom floor flooded - holy fall hazard. On our last night, I was adjusting the shower head when taking a shower and the entire head (hardware included) came crashing down. The hardware that was still attached to the wall was hanging by a thread, mold underneath it. I spoke to the front desk - all he said was he’ll let maintenance know. I messaged the hotel explaining our experience, no response yet. With how much they charge a night, I couldn’t believe they didn’t offer a full or even partial refund. Charging nearly $200 a night, a shower head should not be falling on me.

The room that we stayed in was nonsmoking but smelled of smoke. The bathroom needed some major work, and there was a crack in the ceiling in which water was dripping slowly, then a steady stream throughout the night. My dog refused to go to sleep since he was so anxious. There was also a light that when turned off, had a dull strobe to it. The front desk staff said they could consider a refund, but did not. This was the worst hotel experience I have had in a long time.

The property is in need of a major upgrade. Our room smelled horribly of cigarette smoke. The jacuzzi didn’t work at all. The room was kind of dirty. The door to the bathroom had a hole in it from what looked like someone punched it. The bathroom had mold on the wall next to the broken jacuzzi. The bed was hard and sunken in.
